Jacob if you want really good advice to get chicks, is just listen to them. Women LOVE to talk about themselves (most anyways) and the more ya listen to them, the more they are attracted to that.

Thats something i have learned over the years. Pretty much works on anyone, if you wanna be in someones good books, listen to them.

Dont wanna give away too much though, what may work for me may not work for the next guy!

Sheldon's spot on about the listening part.

Ok well Jacob, Lets see here. This is a bit of a tough one because girls her age can be a bit shifty. Not in a bad way, but she's young, probably hasn't decided what she wants yet. Young girls' minds change in a heartbeat usually.

I would continue to do what you're doing, and approach her on the friendship level. Get to know her, go to movies, "hang out" and things will progress naturally if she is into you that way. I'm not sure I would directly approach her about going out on a date.

Don't try to "show off" or act cool. It's was lame when I was 16, it's lame now, and I'tll be lame tomorrow. Just sayin. Just be yourself.

Sorry, I hope we aren't freaking you out even more.

Bro - doing okay. I haven't yet heard anything about my house inspection so I was getting a little worried about that. They supposedly had until midnight tonight to respond and ask for any provisions. Just talked to my realtor, and he explained their lack of response is most likely a good thing, and means they won't ask for any extras. Yippie. Got some Halloween candy given to me at work today. In the basket was some of those ghost-shaped Peeps. Those things are disgusting!

How you doin?

Lets see, quirks, hmmm. I am a type A thats hardheaded, my wife is also a harheaded type A,(yeah, we clash alot) depending on whos had the most caffeine that day is who usually wins. Nah, not really, I ususally back down cause she holds a grudge, and I am a fixit type guy. you give me a problem and I am going to tell you how to fix it, I do not listen to anything after the problem has been presented, because I am working on a solution. I know I am supposed to just listen to her, and sympathize with her(because thats what the books said to do), but dammit, there is a problem to be solved, and times a wastin.

THE KITCHEN IS MINE, and I do the cooking, grocery shopping, and washing of dishes, 7 days a week. My pet peeve is dirty dishes in the sink, I HATE THEM, Thats why we eat on paper or foam plates most of the time, because I also hate to do the dishes.

I am not allowed to wash clothes,(whoopeee!) b/c my wife says that I am colorblind...... No Im not, but the problem is, clothes need washing, ergo, they all go in the machine and get washed. problem solved, hey, it worked in college, why not now? something about temperature, and delicates, IDK, its dirty just wash it.
My wife has Asthma, and cleaning products are a major trigger for her, so that means I also get to clean the showers, and the toilets, and mop. (I actually have to send her away from the house for a few hours when I do this, otherwise she wont be able to breathe If i start spraying something with bleach in it.

perfectionist? not all the time, but on some things, yes. OCD? nope, but she is, about certain things.

I watch too many TV shows about how things are made, or how to fix them. I am not a fashion type person, jeans and a t shirt are fine. I do not deal with stupidity or lack of drive very well at all. I can be crass and tell it like it is, sometimes to a fault.
For the most part, I play well with others,(I've got report cards from the 3rd grade to prove it).

This forum is full of more like-minded individuals than any place I have ever seen. I trust those of you on this board more than I do the majority of people in my life..and I haven't even met any of you!

Funny how something as simple as a truck can attract certain personality traits in the people who drive them.
Its cause we're all awsome thats why

The shy part will fade, Ive found having confidence works, too much and your just a cocky SOB. Lisa can correct me if Im wrong lol. The mind in the gutter part, well thats life kid, your a guy.

Chris you would totally fit in with me and my buds! The one bud of mine, hes a good guy but man he likes pushing buttons more then I do! He always has someone after him. The bad part about fighting him, is his head is hard. I can punch hard, and one night while we were having a few, I was sick of hearing how hard his head was and we got to talking and the challenge came up to see whether his head, or my hand would win!

Well i smacked him good, and he fell back, got right back up again and smiled. I thought i killed him, cause I SWUNG HARD!!! My hand hurt too in the end, so I think he came out on the winning end!

And yes, confidence is a huge plus, but ya gotta watch it too, too much, and your an ***!

And yes, i can hold a grudge too, forgot about that one

I am sitting here listen too my local radio on my computer, and a thought came to me...I need to share, so here are 2 links to the top rated stations in the MN. They are classic Rock and Everything current in rock. I have been many of areas of the US and nobody has Radio like us. Tune in to their morning shows, it's local but there isn't any stupid radio flare.

KQ92 KQRS-FM

93X 93X ROCKS! Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota

yeah the are both owned by Disney (picked them up after they took off)

The country station in town is owned by Disney too.

Bad traits-
I can hold a grudge for years. no problem.
I remember everything, good or bad. I dont sand bag and throw things in your face, but I'll never forget if you pissed me off.
I will work until I pass out, often I forget to eat during the day if I'm working hard.
Very, very Driven individual.

I capitalize Driven because it's the name of my construction company. Have a good weekend guys, I'm working this weekend for family, building a deck for a cousin and hanging cabinets for a bro-in-law. Did I say Driven???

Lisa- I was thinking that no news is good news, so I hope all is well.

Take it easy,
