OK, fairly understandable explanation...that still doesn't explain why he'd be willing to trade.
A wife would want it GONE, not replaced with another one.
Oh I've been here before with too many projects in the garage and driveway. If she's pissed off, it's an inventory reduction not a swap... Maybe its still a deal but there might be more to the story than the seller is telling. My 2 cents.

You and I and Jay are on the same page. Both of you have been married for a good stint...and me, well I'm a woman and I know how women think. Believe me to her there is no difference between the vette and the mustang. I'm sure she couldn't even tell us the differences between the two.
So..I have my inspection at 10:00 today. A bit nervous but excited too.
Also I finally get my truck back this weekend and I'll be doing that water pump. Last night I had to go tow my brother home so I don't feel too bad now in conning him into helping me on this one (and letting me use his garage and expansive collection of tools).
My older sister & her hubby owned a 65 Corvette convertible for a few months, years ago. They saw how I rode my motorcycle and wouldn't even let me see the car in person....
that's OK... I'll build my Cobra rep and send them pics!!! hahaha
yes, i would let them drive it, but in the nearly 4 years I've been in CO not one of my siblings have come to visit me - not likely they ever will, which sucks, but that's life..
Lisa - did you get your 203* t-stat & billet housing? I've still got the extra housing bolts if you need them. Let me know.
I'm off to get some breakfast. I've started running again and I've always been good at listening to my body: Running bumps up my appetite, but lifting makes me sleep more. Anyone else notice things like this?

Yes, I've seen too many arms crossed and finger waggles about my projects and money down the gopher hole speeches. I've learned. However, I did look at old VW bugs this summer - with the boss' approval but the price jumped on them since gas prices went up. Still would like to have an old slug bug from the late 60's or early 70's. I say this while having a beautiful 1967 Mustang FB in the garage waiting to be fixed up.
Good luck with the inspection and the W/P! Busy week for you, girl.

Good luck with your inspection today Lisa, hope it all goes well.
Good luck with the inspection, mine took about 3-4 hours and Iw as thinking the whole time it must be bad. When the guy got all done, he said he was just being thorough and everything went fine.
Fingers crossed for ya!

Yes, you men and your endless list of projects. Yes busy week, hopefully if all goes well we'll have a closing date set and I can slow down and relax for a bit - that is until I move two states away. lol

Yes I have all my parts I think. All that stuff is at my sister's house along with my truck.
Running = cardio = increase in heart rate and metabolism. Lifting builds muscle and I can only assume your body needs a lot of rest to do that properly.

Yeah, fingers crossed here too. I've owned the house for a year officially now. I'm a bit nervous because I know the house isn't perfect. I outlined everything I knew in the seller's disclosure. The shingles over the front porch do need to be replaced (roof over the house is fine)..the porch has that rolled crap on it. Also when I had the house inspected last year, my inspector wasn't too fond of the electrical box I had, so hopefully no real finger pointing over that one. It's an old house, but in great shape for its age. I've been in houses newer than mine with unlevel floors and soft spots in the floors, with cracks going across all of the ceilings and major settling issues. My house, structurally, is holding up great.
Here's one for my fellow Texans here in the 7.3 forum. Listen for him to call out your town. He called out Conroe, Cut 'N' Shoot and Panorama which are all home for me.
I think they are also only supposed to turn one direction, so you can't even swap them from passenger side to driver side.
This is true IF you choose to buy directional tires, which is an option....not a requirement. I've been doin a little research on Vette's this morning, and I think almost all of them have larger diameter wheels in the back, so that would mean you could only rotate from side to side, never front to rear. Bummer. I guess that explains why the guy just replaced the fronts only. I asked him if I could come see the car today, but it wouldn't work until tomorrow, and I"ll be workin then. Maybe I'll have a better report on monday or tues on the condition of the car. The tranny is Manual with overdirve, which I believe is a 4sp, w/OD. He says it gets 27 hwy, which is what I get in the Mustang. Don't worry guys.......I was born at night, but it wasn't last night. I'm not a sucker
