Let me be the first to welcome OJ Simpson on his all-expenses paid 15-20 year "vacation" in Nevada. More than likely he will be lodged at the garden spot of Nevada - Ely. My advice to OJ is dress warm and you may be big OJ, but you are nowhere near as mean as your lodging mates...you will hear whispered in your ear many times "Say hello to my little friend" .
nothing quite like the love of a lab...I know mine is absolutely relentless, takes a lot to get him down. I have seen him run 3 miles to the duck blind and still want to jump right in and swim. He's getting old enough now at 7 years to want a ride back though.
Dallas is 7 also and loves water just like yours. Here she is:
I realize now how incredibly retarded the stunt was. Still everyone was standing far behind the retard with the gun and we were shooting into an open field. The idiot could have said 'no that would hurt like hell" and I would have left it at that. But he never backs down from anything. My rule is "don't hit other guys in the jewels because then they can't retaliate and return the pain."
If that guy does stuff like that, just tell him you bet him he can't hold on to a electric fence for 10sec.
just watch the double dog dare stuff, these guys are right it can get you hurt.
That's a nice looking lab Scott, I hope she is feeling better. I use to have a big yellow lab, there is nothing better than the love of a lab, those dogs will do anything for you.
Here is a pic of Kirby
Now I have a Jack Russel Terrier. Which oddly enough is a hunting dog also. They hunt varmints like woodchucks or squirrels ect, and the occasional raccoon or opossum. Which is interesting because they are the same size or smalller and it allows them to go into the same hole or den that the they are in.
Here is a Pic of Junior
Edit: Yeah both dogs are named after someone in pro sports. Can you guess?

she is a good looking lab.and I bet shes A BIG SWEETY,she will be all better in no time. I lost my beagle copper this summer, old age 13yrs. hellofa rabbit dog.I know what you mean just like one of the family.
Mine's name is Chuck... don't have a current pic, but he's a chocolate just like dallas... weighs in at about 90 lbs of solid muscle. when dad's farm got hit by the flood he took up residence in the air conditioned office of the machine shop.... I may not get him out of there... I hope Dallas gets well soon, duck season is coming fast. Lisa must be kicked out of the house again this weekend, maybe she'll get an offer.

Good looking dogs! Are they named after Kirby Puckett? Sorry you lost Kirby. My neighbor has a terrier just like that.

I have noticed a huge improvement over this morning. I think the meds are working. She can now stand straight up and she can walk without a limp. She's walking S-L-O-W but she's walking. I've been babying her all day. Thanks for asking about her, Cris.

Sorry to hear about Copper. Yes, they are just like one of the family. Dallas is a big sweety to everyone except the UPS guy. We cannot figure it out either, they are both brown!

They love the AC don't they? Dallas has a spot in the house where the cold air blows right on her. She will fight ya for the spot. After the hurricane, when we were without power, she would go to the spot and look around like "hey, where's the cool air?".
If you guys haven't notice I am spending sat. out with you guys my wife(paula)and I we are watching Iron chef they are fixing ELK this is cool cause never been elk hunting but I have eaten it before. So now I want a elk burger or the left over ham sandwitch in the icebox will do.
Scott you got one right, Kirby Puckett. We got him right around the time of the '91 World Series. Jr I thought would be easier, being we are dealing with trucks/engines and all.

Chuck used to be antagonistic to a former ups guy as well. He can be very intimidating if he wants to be....had the poor ups guy scared to death of him. I used to think it was something about uniforms.... but I think its more " personality conflicts", not even an event the dog did not like. Dogs just plain don't like some people.
Scott- I am glad she is doing good, I was really worried about her.
Jason- We had a jack named Buttercup, after the power puff girl cartoon. She was the best little hunter, the guys in my family loved her every dove season. She would go though anything to get those damn dove, she went through cactus once. Poor thing had her right front leg stuck to her rib cage, took us forever to get that stuff out of her.
