The boy has got to be just a bit lonely...tackling all this by himself.
If anything it might be a nice break to sit and have a beer with someone.

Bring your grill and a couple of six packs along with whatever meat that Rick likes to eat.
It would really cheer him up.
I know that he likes Steamboat Bills. Maybe we could make a run there and meet up with him.
Here's some photos if anyone cares to look. I have only been paying halfassed attention to this thread so if someone else has posted it I apologize. I was up to date pretty much until this morning. Last I heard Rick was the only member still in trouble and he was able to post at least once.
Susan and I have toured both of these mansions. The top one is the Bishop's Palace and the bottom one is Ashton Villa. So glad they survived as they are beautiful old homes with a lot of history between them.
Shacks87 Where you located in Sulphur? I'm south of Carlyss in the Choupique area. I run a lifted 2000 F350 CC, Red. with ranch hands front and back, pipe step rails, alum tool box in bed, BFGs on alum rims.
I'll try to take a run down to miller feed's tommorrow to see if I can help him out. I'll be in LC tommorrow.

Mark I am speechless. I could have never imagined the devistation that I saw in those pictures. My heart goes out even more to those that are suffering through this disaster. Thanks for the pics.

You're more than welcome buddy. I took my crew, back when I still had a life and a business and worked on Hurricane Andrew damage, I think it was in early '93. My son and I had just gone to the Super Bowl. I think it was in Pasadena that year and got back to Buffalo and it was cold. So we used Andrew as a good excuse to go to Florida. So I have seen the damage first hand. Even 4 or 5 months after, it was still an incredible mess.
Mark, thanks for sharing those pictures. I have passed them on to others because I hadn't seen any pics that showed the devastation. That damage was certainly wide spread.
I looked at all the pictures as well. It's hard to believe that all that was possible. I live about 60 miles from Galveston and go there at least twice a year. Might be a good while before returning to visit my favorite places. I feel so bad for all the people involved.
