ok, mudstock is in less than a month and i broke down and couldnt wait...so i bought some regrooved 37" Goodyear Military take offs....i gave $200 for the set and paid $30 to mount 'em...i think they look ok, at least i have something again...i havent had a chance to get the truck dirty yet, hopefully ill get a chance to knock the dust out of it before mudstock gets here....since i dont have any action pics yet, here are some progress pics including some cheesy poser flex pics....pay close attention to the dangerous rear wheel balancing act in action...dont try that dumb crap at home....wheels are not ramps nor jackstands...
Thats a custom gas cap, i can sell you one for 49.95 plus shipping....honestly the original fillerneck was dust and i had to improvise... maybe i should put a budwieser can on it instead??

the extra line allows for more fluid capacity, that helps because the rear cylinder leaks like a faucet....the custom bending job was done by someone in Erie PA, you can find him by going to the halfway house and asking for the one handed blind guy...it hung on for the 1200 mile trip here to oklahoma city, and then for another 20,000 miles around here....its on the list to be fixed, just at the very bottom......
Ill just ditch the hydraulic rear brakes, and hook the E-brake back up!!! Cause we all know how well the E brakes work in these old Fords....although, if it DID work, it would help with front axle digs after i twin stick my junk....now i just gotta get an exhaust on it, among other things, im not real a big fan of open pipes on a stock motor...
