Ok all you cork snugglers i finally had time to go get a new memory card for the camera. Not alot of pics because most of what i got done fits into the engine pics. Anyhow. Other than the alternator and belt the motor is done. Trans crossmember is in along with the trans. Still working on the transfer setup. Heres a couple pics of the motor. Note the shiny importish turbo elbow. Stock pull offs on ebay were $80-100 plus shipping. Guy in vegas had this for $40 shipped. Im not a big fan but it was in my price range.
So heres the trans xmember. I solid mounted the trans to the xmember and bushing mounted it to the frame. Also had to do a cutout for front dshaft placement.
Also tucked up real nice. Only got about 1" hanging below the frame.
Heres a pic of how it sets now. Waiting on new windshield gasket to get here.
I hope. Got a couple important things that are fighting me though. I thought i had the clutch pedals done but they wont work like i figured they would so i have to start over. Also the trans to tcase adapter from advance adapters isnt working like i thought it would. But i bought some things today that might help out. Then again the wifes dakota needs wheel bearings so that puts a dampner on things.
you tell her she can walk, miss cheeto should feel fortunate that she's not working in a coal mine and has a good husband to support her alcoholism. <--- not really sure where that came from, but it felt right.

yeah that makes it tougher unless she likes riding the bus lol
you know you paid more for the bling on that shiny thing! All you rednecks go with the "chrome gets you home" thinking...
On a side note or 2:
1 - you sure that down pipe will fit under the cab? Looks like it might hit.
2 - WTF is with the green on green on the dash? Get that gree dash pad to some fool who will pay to the teeth for it and replace it with a black one!
