Happy Hump Day.
I find that the older I get the harder and longer it is to bounce back too.

You may be right Morris, but Im fighting the hell out of it right now haha.

I just got into the show walking dead the other night when I was taking care of Shelby, and its a pretty deadly show! Right up there with Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad.

I come from a pretty active family though, so Im hoping I stay the same. We kicked my grandfather off of the farm when he was... 88 maybe?

Im hoping to beat his record!

I also come from an active family. You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking 5 miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is."

Grant that is awesome! Amazing a person up there in age can stay in such great shape!

I run and do intervals quite a bit, plus I lift weights and I train mixed martial arts on and off through the year when I have time. I dont think I could walk around for 5 miles like your grandmother haha.

my fam was always pretty active also... Work keeps me active, though long distance running is a thing of the past I'd like to get back to the gym and working out if time ever permits...

If time permits, yeah I hear that as well.

Its crazy how little time one has, and I thought it would get worse when Shelby was born, but Ive actually had a bit more "free" time with her around.

Taking care of her means less working on other things!

nothing beats kids for keeping you active. Or should I say, keeping your kids entertained is a good way to keep active. I know too many peeps who use the TV instead of getting the kids outside and active. Trying my darndest (word invention?) to not have that be us. Had a hoot tonight with the little ones trickortreating... It was quite chilly, and no doubt there will be a head cold to follow, but it was good fun...
