A bit of snow here east of town this evening and it sounds like there`s more on the way.
I`m glad I missed the minus 9 this morning.

Not enough for sledding but certainly more than enough for messing up my jobs and driving.

Snow only messes up driving for the crappy drivers out there!

We officially got enough snow in our yard to drive the sled in a loop in the yard, and tonight thats what I plan on doing, IF it doesnt melt away!

Truckin's Good. We have more freight than driver's. It seem's evryone just want's to work mon-fri 8-5. We have 10 new Pete 388's and some of the driver's are only pulling less than 8,000 miles/month. We need these trucks to do 10,500/month min. to make money. We're selling up to 4 of them and replace them with owner operators. That'll drop our company fleet to 15 company units and 5 owner operator's. Never a dull moment in this business. As long as the rate cutting slows, every thing will be fine.

My boss would have told me to get on my summit and ride in haha. Cant miss wednesdays either, I literally do maybe 30 minutes of work on wednesdays and get paid for a full day.

Grant do you guys ever hire owner/operator guys to do cross Canada work only? I know a few guys that wanna get into that but have absolutely zero desire to drive south of the border.

We only have a couple of Canada Only driver's. It sometime gets hard to load them home when it's slow in BC and ON. we need to be able to run them into WA to load on the west coast and MI, OH, IN and NY out of Ontario.
