We downsized from 30 trucks last year to 17 now. It's just too hard to find good driver's that want to run the miles we have to run. We sold 10 trucks over the summer and fall and kept our best driver's. Our office is now down to 4 people, including my brother. We had a planner quit last week to go work in the oil patch somewhere near North Battleford, SK., so I'll be alone for a few weeks. I saw that video, that sure was a terrible thing to happen., Don't they have a screen around the track?
Now I feel alot better since I talked to him on his cell phone just now, while he`s abit stiff and sore with a lump on the back of his head he sounds much better than compared to late yesterday when I last talked to him. I watched that video quite afew times in the last two days plus any others I could find, it sounds like there would have been a view of Fred if those big guys weren't standing in front of him, he was been sitting in the 8th row. A lady beside him had her leg broken in quite afew places, she`ll have a long recovery.

I know how good help is almost impossible to find, I`ve long quit trying.
There is a cable reinforced fence and it stood up pretty well to that 175 mile an hour car but pieces flew over the wall, I think it`s 22 ft tall.
The catch fence will have to be higher............I just heard on ''Race Hub" that Daytona is changing everything on the front stretch, all the fencing, all the seating, more press boxes & so on, play safe out there guys

Hi and thanks Gerry.
I`m really relieved and I`ll be picking Fred up from the airport just after mid nite.

Hi Grant, nice day here too tho we got dumped on with about 4'' of snow over nite.
I`m just about all done cleaning snow in my yard, looks like we got about 5-6'' last nite into morning. how about you, pushing any more snow lately?
I hope the highways aren`t too slick but at least the late evening traffic should be light after midnight as I head to the airport.
Thanks Gerry, that was so cool! I like the sound effects, well, actually all of it!
I need my mood lightened, tomorrow my Bobcat goes in again to get another hydraulic oil leak fixed, it`s becoming to be a regular sprinkler.
There`s no warranty as I`m into my third yr of ownership.
A good thing it`s going in tomorrow as I`m almost running out of hydraulic oil and I can`t let the Bobcat get low or it`ll be even a much larger repair bill.
I was tempted but I think it could end up a big nitemare!
It`s a 7 hr job for a trained tech with specialty tools and Bob training plus just about everything in and around the engine compartment has be removed to gain access to that steel line buried there. Also there`s a strong possibility it`s the Bobcat shop`s fault from when they fixed it last fall.
