Happy Tuesday mornin" all. Very foggy here this morning, the thickest I've seen in a long time. If it weren't for the strobe on the school bus I wouldn't have seen it. Morris my day went well yesterday till I got home. My 7yr old Kalan had a melt down, he was untamable from 7pm till 9pm. He was saying I made him mad, he was on the computer with a whole chicken (one of those cooked roasters from Sobeys) chicken pieces and fat all over the keyboard. I took it away and gave him what for. They know that they're not allowed food or drink at the computer. I had to go for a walk about and let my wife deal with it, She has far more patience for that, I'm too old school, Jordan on the other hand, listen's and has alot of respect for us and never really is a problem. When I was Kalan's age I'd be throttled within an inch of my life if I did that. Remember some day they'll be running this country Well that's enough venting, have a great day guy's
I`m totally with you on that, no food or drink anywhere near the computer.

Hopefully thats something he grows out of by the time he's independant. I have two daughters, near 2yrs an 4-1/2yrs, it pains me to think of what teenage years and highschool will bring into our household. I think our thoughts on dicipline are similar Grant. The effective way of enforcing the rules aren't welcome in today's society though. Talking over this same topic with another father a while ago and he made a good point. Nowadays when you dicipline your child, you're actually diciplining so many more because of social media. The minute you tell your kid they can't do something, they're on their cell phones, ipods/pads, laptops, etc. sending the word to all their "friends" about what a bad person you are. God help us all...

Both of the bikes you have listed are cool choices, tough to choose between them. You really need both! haha.
The mustang got traded with the Jeep towards the Fusion. It was a fair deal, + I never had anywhere to put the Mustang for the winter. No way is my truck sitting outside, and for sure not the family vehicle. It was a tough decision, especially driving it down to the dealer...listening to the pipes wrapping...almost changed my mind, but I'd like to get a nicer, lower mile, newer one next summer, or maybe a Jeep Wrangler convertible so at least a guy can take it fishing and stuff...
If I had 40g to throw away at toys with no remorse, I still don't think I would own two bikes again. I'm still not sure if I really want to get one because of the time it takes away from being with my kids. Not to mention the added risk of being taken away from them forever. 99% of the timeI can't even take it to work for an afternoon in case I have to make a material run or something...
I dont think there is any added risk when riding a bike. I ride my bike sorta like how I drive my western star, and if ya learn how to read traffic, and ride accordingly in different traffic conditions, the chances of getting in a serious bike accident are very slim compared to a regular vehicle.
I wont ever not own a bike again. I got my first bike when I was 10 ish, and Im a biker at heart.
Same way I wont be without a sled, a quad, a boat or a camper again
I cant wait to get my little girl a mini bike and quad and sled! Shes gonna get taught that social media is there for fun and to not take it serious, AND that life is much much more fun outside.
Theres no brakes, lol........the lake (Nippissing) we live on here is very large & gets rough real fast, many small boats have capsized, but its not just that, I have a big camper I like better.......I would like to go on a cruise ship some day
