Do you plan on driving the truck much? You might regret going with Poly bushings. I was going to swap to Poly bushings on my Mustang but everyone I talked to said that unless you're racing stick with factory style rubber. Poly is too stiff and will transfer all the road feelings and vibrations straight to your body...
I've never heard that comment yet, but I can see why someone would say it. Those bushings are fairly stiff, but I don't mind.
I ride my motorcycle with the suspension settings on harder than usual, so I'm used to feeling the road bumps.
Since I'm only 22, it's not something I'm worried about just yet. Plus, those new seats I got should help out a lot.
Ya Moe. I'm 60 and all busted up. I can just live with the stock ride in the 86 bronc but the 90 Ranger is way to stiff. And I aint even gonna mention the W250 I bought new in 90. Has very few miles on it cuz it hurts to much to use it when there is anything else.
My 98 Ranger has very stiff suspension for some reason, it can haul a good load but most of the time I just haul light things in it so I have no need for that type of suspension. On the other hand my 93 F150 long box floats like a hovercraft.
IFS/IRS solves the stiff suspension puzzle on a project truck, just saying!
Aaron, I dont think the bushings will be that bad, although they are a bit rougher. Anyone under the age of 75 it really shouldnt bother... THAT much haha.
Hell of a nice morning folks, looking to be a good friday!
We got no rain, but you must have been sleeping or had the blinds closed if you didnt see all the lightning, it was right over Saskatoon, maybe a little bit west. I sat on my deck for a good bit and watched it, was awesome to see.
There was some thunder and lightning after dark but nothing major here, strange as we`re not really that far apart. We did get about a quarter inch of rain, just enough to settle the dust for afew hours.
