Happy Hump day mornin'all. Back at work
. We're having just a steak & lobster dinner at home, just the 4 of us. Years ago we used to have a big prime rib dinner with friend's and their children. Everyone would spend the night, and we'd do a mega breakfast. 12 yrs ago Dawn's mother was killed in a car accident in Texas new years eve. Since then we stopped celebrating with friend's. I'm more than happy just spending it with my family. Kalan's birthday is Sunday so we do fireworks on new Years Eve for his birthday. Have a great day guy's.

Morning boys... I like your celebration style John. Not much for the big festivities either. I'd sooner relax in solitude. Not big on the family get togethers, its ok for a meal but after a short period of time everyone starts getting on everyone's nerve. Or maybe that's just me 
I'd sooner lay back on the floor with my dogs and have a siesta. My wife has a friend that she hangs with sometimes, our oldest went to school with their oldest when we lived in town and we lived just around the corner from them. I always get roped into being a "friend" to the husband. He's an alright guy, but I don't need friends. I find animals are much easier to tolerate and associate with. I do like the "FTE friends"...lol. We don't have to see each other in person much if at all, so less opportunity to get annoyed with each other

Two trips to get his teeth pulled meant about $900 then lately a fatty lump beside his shoulder was another $500. It`s all good and well worth it but that`s a few old Ford/Mercury truck parts up in smoke.
