Morning everyone. Looks like we got a little snow here over night. Still not enough to have any fun with.

We got what looks to be about 2 -1/2", I'll know more once I get out there to shovel it...

At least with it being cooler than what it was the snow at least is light and easy to shovel, it doesn't hurt to be out in the fresh air either...

Morning fellas... A beautiful morning here. Chilly but the little flurry falling looks really pretty.

Another lazy day for the books here. I keep thinking I should get into my little shop and attempt to organize it and clean it up, but every time I get in there I lose my focus cause its such a mess. I really need to just push the dumpster up in front and throw 90% of the stuff in the garbage and start over. Maybe I'll take the initiative later...

Have a great Sunday everyone, my business partner and I are going out for a family(s) supper tonight. Should be a good time...

I know what you mean Sherm, my shop is a real mess now with the truck in a million pieces that I'm tripping over, hard to get inspired to do anything or anything about it at the moment. I will eventually get things back to almost normal.

Spent a day a few weeks ago to get my garage cleaned up. I couldn't believe all the stuff I through out. Not sure how I got it all in there.

Yeah its crazy how quickly things accumulate. I've got a couple boxes of stuff that I haven't opened in 3+ years. Part of me is saying just chuck the whole thing without looking inside, the other part is saying you better make sure there is nothing valuable in there. In reality, if I haven't looked in there in 3+ years, chances are I've already replaced what I may have needed that was in there, or I don't need anything in there. So far I have a strip of sheeting on the roof and most of another wall sheeted. Plan to get that wall done so I can put shelving on it then organize things so I can finish the rest of the shop.

Good afternoon everyone, we had a good 4 inches fall last night, not the 2-1/2" that I thought when I looked outside this morning, my back was beginning to feel the adventure towards the end.

It was a beautiful morning here too, cool but finally the sun came out.
When you get your shop neaty and tidy drop by to do mine Sherm...there maybe a bit of extra Christmas cash in my budget to pass on to you. Once you get the hang of livestock you`ll have to up grade to cattle, they make for much nicer pets.
Over the Christmas holidays I can`t get inspired to do much in the shop and none on my truck either John.
About those Duster parts Gerry....it`s time to free up some Christmas cash there too.

Still plugging away here Got the south wall finished and 2-2x8x6 shelving units in place for storage. I had them in my big cargo trailer a couple years ago. They're too sturdy to tear apart. Now to get things organized on them and off the floor so I can complete the rest of the shop. Its my goal to have that all done during this Christmas break.

I've got another shop on the north side of our yard that needs saving also. Its 24x32, and used to be for pigs. The roof is caving in, but the walls are worth saving. I'm hoping to get a come-a-long on there and suck it back together and save it.

Morris, I think it would be a bad idea to have someone else organize your stuff. Only you know what you need where and what order you need to reach stuff.

As for keeping stuff...most of my stuff ends up being odds and ends of screws, nuts and bolts, miscellaneous cabinet parts, etc. It sucks because its all odd stuff, which makes it basically useless but I struggle with throwing it out because its all good stuff.

Cheers boys, I'm going back at it...

Sounds like you are moving right along Sherm! In my 12 x 24 storage shed I used well packed base gravel with pallets then a layer of light plywood over top, it`s nice and sturdy plus a lot cheaper than a cement floor. I wasn`t sure if I was keeping it in that exact spot or not, turns out I did.
While I agree that it may not be the best idea to have someone else organize my stuff I`m quite willing to bet that with your drive and organising skills would be done a lot quicker....and better.

It's his money, He borrowed from his college account, and has to pay it back before September. Baked Salmon for supper tonight. Got to get back at'r. Gerry if you have parts
