Evening everyone. It was pretty cold today. I've decided I want to heat my garage. One nice thing about living in a hydro house is my heat panel is a "free" panel because I pay a set amount every month no matter how much heat I use. So I'm just going to wire my heater into that panel and boom, heated garage at no extra charge

Hopefully everyone is staying safe and warm.

Morning fellas, someone forgot to turn up the heat last night. She's cold outside... Momma ran over some glass in the EX yesterday. Off to get a tire repaired or replaced this am. Its punctured pretty bad, I can't see it being repaired.

Had 2 guys look at my cummins last night. One guy had went to the bank earlier in the day, the other went to the bank of Grampa and was getting back to me today. I've got my eye on a truck at the dealer here in town. A 2010 F150, regular cab/long box, 4x4. It would be perfect for my needs, especially now that we have the EX as a 4x4 family vehicle.

Thats a nice looking place you have Grant. I'd be pissed about a mosque/temple being built across the road too Too bad you and your neighbors couldn't have got together and bought the property first. Turn it into a nice drag strip or something...

Have a great Saturday everyone!!!

Hi Grant I know where you are exactly I lived in Charleswood and hauled Gravel in the 70's around the perimeter, Is the area trying to a force high density development in that area.

How close is the development going to be to the actual perimeter
(Not like Westdale I hope )

Morning everyone, it's cold out today! -35 and -50 with wind!! Our Explorer turned over a little hard even though it was plugged in.

That is why I swapped the 20s on our Explorer for 17s and some 245/70r17 truck tires. Thicker tires plus deeper treads equals less chance of puncture.

Good luck with the sale of your cummins

Hockey weekend. I don't want to hang around work this weekend to work on truck parts. Too many driver's are in town, and they wouldn't leave me alone. Sherm; We didn't even know the land was for sale. I doubt they would put a temple in. There's one a couple miles from here, but ya never know. Good luck on the truck. I sure do love mine. A little heavier on fuel than the POS Montana, but well worth it.

I think it will be just like Westdale. Right up to the service road. I just hope the City doesn't annex us, then our taxes will skyrocket. they still have to go to council with the zoning variance and development plan, put in the road's and bring in services. The water, I believe has to come from Center Port in Rosser. It's a very long distance to bring that in, and the sewer isn't even in our area yet. We're on well and septic. They won't allow any more new septic fields or wells in our area anymore. They may start punching road's in in the next couple of year's. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

It`s cold all over Sherm, I`ll certainly be glad when spring finally comes and hope it`s not a late one.

My mileage with my 2012 F150/5.0 isn`t the greatest but like you I wouldn`t give it up for a smaller vehicle.

Same here Grant, we`re now 6 miles from the Saskatoon city limits so it keeps coming our way. Rumors have a second Saskatoon Costco coming just down the road from us.

Morris; A freind of mine bought a nice house on the edge of the city limits. 2 years later they built a Walmart at the end of his street (just a feeder street) It's a gravel street, and on purpose, they don't grade it that often, to keep the traffic down. He's the last house on the far end, so the washboard doesn't affect him.

I`m not looking forward to Costco being here Grant, it will be a traffic nightmare because of how our highway joins that road. Hopefully it doesn`t happen and if it does hopefully it`ll be a few more yrs from now.
