Hope everyone`s day goes well and this winter passes more quickly now that the first week of Feb is gone!
While it may seem like a good idea for cummins in Super Duty I`m not so sure it`s that superior to Ford`s current diesel engine Sherm. Keep in mind that I know absolutely nothing about the latest series of cummins.
Nice to see these nice pictures Grant, looking good!
Goooood Evening My fellow Ford-o-holics!!
Good douse of snow but the bulk of it headed North at the last second here. So......Headed North. Friday went to demo days, demo'd a few Vipers. Full day of riding but only 160kms on mine. Saterday, good 5" at home and deeper as we went north. Ran into freezing rain for about an hour. Only 260km's but could have def did more. Broke trail 80% of our day. Not the greatest season for riding but still managed to roll over 1600kms on her so far. This weekend was a blast. Would have been out again today had I not promised the chicklets some skating at the local rink.
Morris, your fleet is amazing. That F350 looks soooooo good!!
Grant, I gotta pop into the shop one day this week. FINALLY make it by for a coffee and check out that motor. Lookin good.
To the rest of ya, Gerry, Colin, Randy, Trent, John, Clint, SHerm and those I may have missed I hope you have a great start to the week!!
Thanks, drop by this summer and I`ll take you for a ride.
I don`t want any near big of a amount of snowfall, we have a small shot of that 2 winters ago.

Anybody who want's snow ought to check out Kitimat BC. 2M of the stuff!
I think the new cummins is similar to all the other modern diesels. Any of its faults can be directly related to emissions controls. I have a buddy with 380k on a 2008 Cummins 6.7, first year of the DPF. It had issues until around 15k when he deleted the emissions system. It's been a good truck ever since. Mine is the old 5.9 Cummins...pre emissions. Its respectable.
Ray, I guess it depends on your definition of "nasty" lol. I'm very particular.
Glad we didn't get kitimat's snow. We got no where for it to go here.
Happy Monday everyone... We're off to Regina this afternoon for my wifes MRI. Have a great day everyone!!
Morning boys!!
Good luck today Sherm!
NotEnough, thanks for posting the link. I saw some drone footage yesterday of that area. Roofs are all so deep with snow. Hope they share some of it this way!!
Morris, she's still got it going on!! Looks like fun in the bobcat, that's alot of snow!!
Happy Monday mornin'all. Morris; What doe the touring have for a drive train? That's one fine looking car! Good luck on your wife's MRI Sherm. Curtis; Drop by any time except noon on Wednesday. I take my brother for dialysis at 11am, back at 1pm. Have a great day guy's.
Not much Grant, the new spring perches and shock cross member are installed, can't do much more until I get the rear differential and I welded in the boxing plates for the front cross member. Can't weld that in yet because I don't know how high the **** end is going to be until I have it sitting on wheels. The front cross member needs to be welded in level front to back for the proper stance. I was planning on going to the wreckers today but there was a pile up on the highway east of Dryden and most of his crew are working on that leaving no one to remove the diff from the Explorer. Meanwhile he is supposed to send me some more vin numbers from some Rangers to see if any of them may have a limited slip and better gearing.
