Happy Thursday mornin'all. ATTA BOY! Gerry. Looks good. Are you continuing with the brick on the front? Sorry to hear about the ram Sherm. Thank god it's dark most of the winter. Have a great day guy's.
I'm hoping to have my HiQual finished by the end of today. Won't be as nice as your garage addition but it will get things out of the snow blanket which will be soon upon us. Nothing I hate more than being caught with my pants down when winter arrives. This year I'm on a mission to get ready.
I have a confession... I no longer have my Cobra. I had an offer of trading it for a Dodge 2500/5.9 Cummins and cash. Of course I like cash, and I actually like the truck. Its big and loud, 6" BDS lift on 35" rubber. I also like it for the reason that now I can get my F350 detailed and preserve it rather than wrecking such a nice truck as a work truck. The Cummins definitely doesn't have the snort of the 6.7L Ford, but its kind of like the Harley Davidson I had...what it lacks in ooomph, it makes up for in character...
Another reason the deal appealed to me was now I've got a 2nd 4x4 so one can sit at home for my wife in winter in case she needs it. I was very reluctant to sell the Fusion because its paid for and has very low miles on it. Its an economical car to drive, and I find it more comfortable than many other little 4x4 SUV's I've tried out as a replacement.
Happy Thursday everyone!!
Standing tall for the S & A.
Having two 4wd trucks sure is useful. The wife even has a jeep liberty which is 4wd. No getting stuck for us.

My parents had a Jeep liberty a couple years ago. Very off road capable vehicle.

I have a minimum 9 miles of gravel to drive every day...if it rains and/or snows, 4x4 is the only way to get to pavement... There were quite a few days/weeks this past year where my wife didn't leave the yard unless I was able to give her my truck...

Wife enjoys her liberty but drives it like Dana Patrick. She lived in an area where she had to drive several sections of dirt roads.
Nearly got my HiQual building completed. 2 hours this am should get it buttoned up 100%. I can't wait to get my crap inside and out of the elements. Going to be nice to walk around the yard and not see tractors and attachments sitting in the weather.
Getting to jobsites often require 4x4 as well...especially when towing trailers and such. Last weekend my FIL went goose hunting with some guys from his work. The one guy hauls a trailer with his decoys and gear in it. He backed it in as he could with his 2014 chebby, then they had to make trips with the trucks back and forth with little loads of decoys. My FIL had to pull him and his trailer off the field with his '09 F150. The funny part was his passenger looking down and seeing that he was only in 2wd at first but was still able to pull the guy out. When he put it in 4x4 and locked the rear diff, there was no stopping it.
