60 * forecast for tomorrow ! Got to work till noon , then cut some wood . Help a buddy work on his tractor on Sunday . Clutch problems .... Have a good weekend guys !
Morning Gents. Snow blew a little last night, but I still have to get the tractor out Freezing rain out there now...that should make for an interesting mess.
That's a cool truck Morris, I like it.
Have a guy real interested in my Cummins truck. Not holding my breath on it happening, and it will be a temporary inconvenience if he does come for it right away, but it will be a great opportunity to get back into an F-series truck
Happy Saturday mornin'all. Love the chrome bumper/grill look on the f350 Morris, Classy lookin work truck. Good luck with the truck hunt Sherm. We had a couple of YOHO's pull into our yard at work yesterday at 4:30 pm. One of the guys took out the hydro pole to the building. I watched as he clipped it, and then countinued on, ripping the pole from the ground and sending live sparking wires all over the lot. I called police fire and hydro. Hydro was still at it at midnite last nite. We have a back up gen. The guy who hit it didn't speak english very well. He said " I think maybe i'm in lot of trouble" The guy in the other truck kept saying "It wasn't me, it was him". They we're from a local company, looking for direction to Thompson, MB. I rebuilt and painted my alt, and painted the p/s pump housing, and will try to install this weekend.(I have to modify some custom brackets I bought) Have a great day guy's. I've got pic's at work of the shop damage, and will try to post later.
Grant, did you give him proper directions that included an international flight? Some people... We've been tearing an old foundation from underneath a house. Yesterday the hoe operator was reaching through the 32" garage walk in door with a 24" bucket on the midi hoe, excavating as much of the garage as we could. That required some finesse. I operated the Hoe for a little while as well. Very cool, something I could quite enjoy.
Ray...allow Morris to expound on the running gear in that Model A...
Thank goodness we didn`t get any freezing rain, I`m still dealing with the ice that formed when it was so warm a few weeks ago.
Thanks for the kind words on my 56 Sherm, I think it`s a neat old truck and good luck on your Cummins truck. I`d like to see you back in an Ford real soon...where you belong.
That chrome bumper and grill is what made me buy the 56 F350 in the end Grant, not that it was a real hard decision to make! Nothing like a little excitement involving that hydro pole to the building!
It`s nice to hear your working on your truck, that reminds me that I have to get back on my 53 M100 resto rod once it warms up a bit.
Thanks Ray, I`m posting another couple of T pictures for you. I`m thinking of maybe selling the Ford 850 tractor since I have 2 similar little MF`s too.

I hope it`s not a big a blizzard John, I could send a snowblower your way but if you have to resort to shovelling be sure to take it easy!
Morning boys...Isn't it comforting to know we're all a part of Gerry's experiment. I just hope I don't have to drink the potion again...
Good luck with your blizzard John. Our forecast has changed now to hardly any snow. I'm ok with that. Right now the only blizzard I want is from DQ...a banana pie blizzard. MMMMMMM...but I'm not going to give in.
Morris, I wish Ford put this Cummins engine in their super duty trucks. I love the motor in this truck, the lift and looks are cool also... Just can't get comfortable driving a truck whose symbol represents female reproductive organs... With 285k on the truck though, it has held up pretty good considering...
Ideally I would love to find a OBS generation (92-97) F250, extended cab/short box/4x4 with a gas engine. 460 preferred but would definitely look at a 351 with the 4.10 gears. It would have to be mint because I'm not a body man, and have no desire to do a restoration at this time...
Happy Sunday mornin'all. I tried to download some pic's yesterday, but my computer wouldn't let me. I could up load them, but couldn't download. I'll try from work today. Have a great day guy's.
