Morning everyone, another extremely cold morning here, -28* and windchill's of -43*

Don`t give away your Super Duty just yet Shrem, that other one may cost more to maintain then what it`s worth.
You are right John, another stretch of this weather and that wet fart is going to be around for a long time.

Mo, I'd like to keep the Super Duty, but it may be more financially responsible to part ways with it at this point, and with my latest life change
By no means would it break me to keep it, but I'm a practical person. Today we tried out a new Edge and Explorer. I have to nibble the crow and say that I loved the Explorer. It is so far better than the Edge in every way, shape, and form. Hands down, one of the most comfortable vehicles I've been in to date. (Yes, Randy, you and my wife were right)
Its still frikin cold out there...it hurts.

Mornin John. I was home sick yesterday. I went in the garage for a smoke in the afternoon. I was poking around looking for some lacquer thinner, an found a brand new flex fan and adapter under the shelving. My wife said she found them and put them there this summer when we were cleaning. It's got a red center, but i'll get that in Ford blue this weekend. How but you?

Trying to install these Altman locks, they are not as fit friendly as they say. Have to modify some parts to make them fit and they interfere with the window channels. Spent all day yesterday trying to get the driver side set up which is still not complete but will start on the passenger side today to see if it works out any better.

I have bare claw latches in the panel but they are not Altmans. They don't recommend welding them in. I'll take some pics and send them to you. I have both sides in now and they work but do rub against the window channel. What rubs is a little ear that a power lock actuator connects to, I may be able to remove some material from this and still install the actuators when I get them.

Okay guys .. close the fridge door! 1F this morning . Nice and crisp at the shop! Got it up to 40 at one time . Firing up the old freightliner smoked it up enough to open all the doors . That old Detroit don't like the cold ....
