There were two pianos in my garage. One piano was an old player piano and the other was not a player but it was from the early 1900s. Both weighted around 700 pounds. And yes those pianos aren't that big but my garage is small and I wanted them out for a long time already.
[QUOTE=Randy_270;15005921Yesterday was pretty nice, only -18* C and -24* with wind so I went for my first snowmobile ride of the year. We have maybe half the snow we normally do, its really depressing. I love snowmobiling but with how little snow we have, I'm debating on selling my snowmobile.
Sherwin that is a slick looking Explorer![/QUOTE]
I have to say I'm in the same boat with regards to sledding. I hardly get the itch any more, the snow sucks around here, and my opportunities to go to the mountains are pretty much nil. My sled is paid for, so it would be a nice little chunk of cash to have sitting around.
Thanks for the compliments on the Explorer. It is growing on me. Last night on the way to the gym the roads were treacherous. The Ex handled it like a champ. Very stable vehicle. My wife took the EX in to get the command start installed on Friday. They gave her a Focus for a courtesy vehicle. We're not complaining about the vehicle, it was nice to have the use of it, but the difference between it and the Ex was quite surprising to my wife. She was happy to have her Ex back.

I was going to ask if you played piano, but read your other post about them belonging to your sisters (EX!!!??? ) boyfriend. Good call with the skid steer!!! I've moved a few too many piano's by hand...

Thanks Collin. Sure hope your little guy gets better soon. Nothing sucks like having sickly kids
We have the same dilemma in our house about our sleds but, they are paid for so I think they will be fine and next year when we have lots of snow we can go play.
Matthew is feeling better tonight although he hasn't eaten or drank anything all day.
Evening everyone. I'm already feeling the affects of moving those pianos in my shoulders. My sled is almost paid off, should be paid off by end of February/beginning of Marchish. Plus there are other things I want that will make selling my sled worth it.
As for the pianos, yes they belong to my sister's dumb boyfriend (yes she is still with him after all he has done). Why did I move them for him? Because I was sick and tired of seeing them in my garage, and he wasn't going to move them. My sister and the p.o.s. are out of town right now so perfect opprtunity to not have to deal with him. Now I bet you are asking why I didn't bring them to the dump? Well I still love my sister, and I'm a nice person.
Morning Fellas... Temps are still reasonable. I'm happy.
Its payday on Wednesday...then in 2 weeks its payday again... I could get used to this.
Good to hear your boy is feeling better Collin. The beauty of being young is that they're pretty resilient.
You know Randy, you might be a decent chap after all...no matter what your G/F says about you...
I think if I sell my sled, most of the cash would go towards buying another quad for my wife. She really enjoys quadding, as do I. Its something we can do as a family and not have to worry about frostbite. We have come home with a case of trenchfoot before though...
Have a great day boys... Time to put out an APB on Gerry or what???
Happy Monday morning'all. Kalan came down with the stomach flu last night. I think he should be the last one in our house to get it. My brother gave me some MOJO metal polish to use on my headlite rings, wiper arms and window crank handles. They came out really nice. It took me about 2 hrs to do, but the satisfaction was well worth it. We never use our sleds since the boys are in hockey. We're luck to put 30 miles on a year, but will not sell them. They're paid for and tuck away in the shed nicely. I do service them every year. Jordan will probably start riding again when his hockey career is over. Have a great day guy's.
Good afternoon John, John, Grant and Sherm, thank you all for being here.
I don`t know what`s up with Gerry Sherm.
My daughter in law and the grand kids paid a visit to the local SPCA yesterday to look for a dog for them, it`s too sad to see so many little faces waiting for their forever home.
Went to Moose Jaw today to look at travel trailers and came home with a snowmobile. A 2000 Yamaha 600 triple with 3500kms on it. Looks to have next to new track and ski rods. The wife loves the colour hope she is happy.
