So did winnipeg dodge the snow you were supposed to get? They said we were supposed to get between 5-10 today but it's still nice and sunny here now. It appearantly snowed a couple hours in Dryden yesterday.

It doesn't feel like spring here. The wind is howling and there are a few snow flakes coming down.

I'll be looking for the little ***** today, but I hope the pooch has learned that it is one varmint to be avoided.

Happy Saturday Everyone!!
No snow, just a bit of rain last night.
Molly fond a porcupine last yr, she got about a dozen quills and it`s a good thing that let me pull them out here at home on a late Friday night. I found the porcupine and relocated it to a good spot.

Morning Everyone!!
Grant, Gerry, Randy, Sherm, Clint, Steve, Morris, JWC3, John and everyone else that pops in for a visit today

Heading outside to tear apart the dash of the buggy. Going to tackle a parasitic draw I have somewhere. Pretty sure it's in the column or stereo. I can hit the dash or tilt the wheel and the buzzing in the speakers goes away.
Good luck with the dash, I hate electrical work.

Morris, try you local Hudderite colony for fixing your jack. many years ago I had my Snap On floor jack rebuilt thru them from my tool dealer, and is still working good. Sherm, Hope your pooch is OK, Once Bitten Twice Shy. Our neighbor at the lake yrs ago, had a Spaniel that had a soft spot for skunks. She musta got srayed a dozen times, and that didn't stop her. best be gettin rid of the porcupine. Have a great day guy's.
Thanks for the tip Grant, I`ll have a look at the jack, hopefully it doesn't require unobtainable parts.

Happy sunday mornin'all. John, We got hit slow and slushy, then rain. We got about an inch that stayed. Today it's cloudy -4 so far, and windy from the north. I can't wait to get the 56 in ths garage and get something seriously done this summer. Gotta take jorden to work today, lots of dirty equipment for him to wash. dawn left the house to take kalan to a hockey tourney across town at 7;30AM. Looks like a lazy day today. Curtis; Try running a ground strap from the column to body, and dash to body. You'd be suprised what that may accomplish. Do you actually have a draw? is it killing your battery. A guy at work had a problem with static on his stereo and his heater, blower motor not working, and we found a faulty cluster ground. We ran a seperate ground and all is well. good luck.

Morning Boys, happy Sunday.

Wife is on a cleaning rampage. I'm outta here

Pooch is ok, Wife and I spent quite a bit of time wandering through the bush looking for porky, but it was no where to be seen. I'll be ok with not seeing it or interacting with it again. It will see a permanent relocation if I catch it in or near our yard again...

Damn cold this am, -10...I sure hope this is the last hit of winter...

Feel sorry for your dog Sherm I know that has got to hurt. We got hit with about 2 1/2" of wet snow last night, I'm really getting sick of this, 2 years ago with we put new windows in our house in April there was no snow and in the 70's. Now that I'm waiting to spin some wheels on my panel we get a winter that won't quit.

Evening everyone! So I decided to keep my truck. Also decided to give my truck some lovin and swapped out both diff fluids, the transfer case fluid and the transmission fluid and filter. Good thing I crawled under my truck because I found out why my front end has been banging when I hit large bumps. I knew my front shocks are shot but I didn't think anything of it. I haven't replaced them yet because I'm gonna be putting a lift on my truck soon so I figured why replace them then replace them again.
So this is all that's left of my passenger side bump stop, and it was only being held on by a small piece .

This is my passenger side bump stop

Here is my driver side bump stop

I was hoping to do the same as you yesterday but, it was just to lousy out so I thought I would do it today. I started my truck after dinner to get the oil warmed up. I went in the house for a minute and when I came out I could see something leaking out the bottom of my truck. When I opened the hood I saw that the bracket for my bypass filters had broke and the coolant hose was ripped open. So much for my plans for the day so tomorrow will have to make a bracket and put things back together.

Thanks, it shouldn't be to hard to fix. I plan on using a piece of angle iron for the new bracket. And the hose I am just going to splice together until I can get a new hose made up.
