George...you've been busy this morning! LOL

Mark posted the link way back on page 19 in post #278...click the 'google map' link below...

I've ginned up a spreadsheet last night before I ginned up myself... and currently based on 'rating' criteria...although I have to add a few more CG's...Twin Creek is popping to the lead...I rated 'BIG' as BAD if you know what I mean...but I also rated being somewhat closer to the action as good since you could pick up the trolley and not fight the traffic if desired...cabins are a MUST too...

Mark added a few options on the map last night when Tracey and I were out kid-less and getting drunk at friends...I have to add them to the spreadsheet and see how it shakes out...

Jellystone still has IMO the nicest setting but it's much farther out...but I keep coming back to that one...but that darn Twin Creek is also very nice (but apparently the owners are real strict...so for our group...that may be bad?)...than that smokey bear place...that is the 'small' one near Jellystone with only 2 cabins (the pappa bear is the real nice one Beth spoke of...) that place has a meeting room for us to gather and have a pot-luck dinner/breakfast if we choose...ARGH...see what i'm trying to rate!!!...they all have pluses/minuses...back to the spreadsheet to put some more ratings in...

Not trying to be nosey or anything, but I live 20 min from gatliburg tenn. If I were you i would look in to the campgrounds in Townsend TN. They are alot more peasefull and secluded than in gatlinburg. and your just a few miles from pigeon fordge and gatlinburg. also you are right at the foothills of the smokeys and only about five minuites from cades cove, a great place to visit. Its free to circle cades cove and a must for all visitors of the smokey mtns. If you want i can look up numbers and web sites to the available campgrounds and cabin rentals for you all, just let me know.

Yeah...I don't sleep in...I only need a few hours sleep...no matter my 'condition'!

In the process of 'ranking' some campgrounds...I've got a spreadsheet with all the choices and rankings and such...Mark and I just need to 'discuss' it a little as I want to bounce my thinking off him...and Big R as he is a local with OBVIOUS advantage!...Mark is doing some honeydo stuff today to earn merrit points for next July!...I am too...painting a computer desk chair...and between coats...slacking on the 'puter...

Nick...you BETTER be there! ... NO PRESSURE!

Man, I hate that. I wind up looking like a freak posting a whole page myself.

Hey, you guys are doing a great job. I still think the Jello site is the one to go too. We don't want the owners to be dick heads and two cabins is prolly not enough. I don't really see Beth letting me shack up with her and all..

As for driving to attractions, isn't that why we got the trucks?

Which part, the flying in part or the getting violated by a big burly redneck part? Just let me know, I'm pretty sure I can arrange the latter..
