He had a tumor growing very fast and finally he couldn't go poop or pee at all

Amazing dog and I'm not just saying that because he was mine. Everyone thought so.
First pet I ever had. Never even had a gold fish and I started with a full blooded Rottweiler.

Did you say $44 per night for the cabins?

So, I have a Great Dane and a little Pug, do you think you can ask your future drinking buddy if that's ok?

They don't mess inside or chew on stuff and I dont' really have anywhere to leave them for a week.

Mind you, on the days when we do excursions, I'd have to leave them in the cabin with the AC on but in the evening, they'll hang out where that big cooker is

I know it's going to be a bit of a pain for me but don't really want to leave them at home for a week.

If you talk to Big R, ask him how big this place is so they don't wander out in the road or anything.

Helluva job. You were worth every penny of that million..

Well, you Mark and BigR, a big thanks
George,

Shoot...I forget the cabin prices...the only hitch I thought you would have may be the 6 night minimum...but I really think folks that come this far are gonna make a week of it...

Plus the cabins look pretty fancy too http://www.twincreekrvresort.com/ind...page=other.htm But I would call for sure to see their rates...once we 'decide' for sure this is our place...we can start calling.

I didn't think I had heard of anyone having any of the three breeds mentioned...but more and more campgrounds/places are restricting those breeds these days...I'd call her (Mary) to verify there would be no issues just to be sure. Her number is 800-252-8077...tell her Joe from the Ford group that was talking to her yesterday sent you...don't rib her about the drinking joke! LOL...I think she meant that to be between her and I...

If folks are NOT a Good Sam's member...you can join for $19 https://www.goodsamclub.com/join/ (but anyone that is a Camping World Presidents club member can join for $12 http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...?skunum=989801) Being a member will save you 10%...I have been a member for a few years...and always recoup my membership dues at campgrounds...just a thought...

Those are some COOL dogs!...we won't my wifes dog...when we go on these longer trips...we usually leave them with her parents...just easier for us...

joe.

John,

Good question...now that I believe we have the meeting place selected (unless there are major flaws in my selection criteria...which I may have missed something)...BigR has agreed to do a driveby to ensure we have a good place...having someone actually lay eyes on the place would be good...

The dates are FIRM I beileve in July 25-27 with people like myself making a week out of it with July 24 - Aug 1.

I think once we get a visual OKAY from BigR...we will start a NEW THREAD with all the information on how people book...including hotels near the location as well...

Then George will start planning the 'activities' for the rally...he will likely need some help in that area...things like drives, group meals, tours as a group (Ashville?), T-shirts, and the like...

So I do believe we are in the HOME STRETCH of THIS LONG thread and have made some great progress in organization...sure we've rambled and stumbled a little...but I do believe we are on track now...those not following...I could easily see how you think our track is going in circles! ...but there is an end in sight...but that is from someone that is in the loop...

George,
Once we get the 'okie dokie' from BigR...we need details in a NEW thread...

If you want some help...well it will have to wait until after my surgery...but I'll be home and recovering...and willing to help after Christmas...

joe.
