If we can't go to the Louisville Plant, why not go to a Ford plant in Detroit and tour a plant there or go see a mueseum of Ford, or see Ford's headquerters or something like that in Detroit home of the American Auto Industry, who knows maybe we would see Alan Mullaly and we could tell him how great the Excursion is and why they should make it again. LOL What do you all think about going there.

I voted for Chicago, but I see aortiz's point about heading toward Detroit. That would be fun too!

If you bought your truck with fuel prices in mind, then you bought the wrong vehicle. Fuel prices are only going to get higher folks.

But I don't want to hijack this thread....

What about the idea of having multiple meets? Obviously certain places are impractical for everyone to get to. Maybe having two separate meets would be more practical - one for the east coast folk and one for the west.

That's a good idea, except I think we're having trouble getting enough people for just ONE event.

I can see how someone on the West coast not wanting to commit to Detroit or Tenn.

I think we should 'try' a western (i.e. Denver, Yellowstone, Yosemite, etc) poll and an eastern (i.e. OBX, Gatlinburg, Detroit, Chitown, etc). This way at least a 'group' albeit a smaller/split group has the possibility of getting together...OR...have this year east and next year west...OR...nevermind! LOL

joe.
