Yeah, that's why I have a business license. I just need to get some customers lined up, and a steady supply of work.
I bet with my WABO card, if I got a Trailblazer or Bobcat welder/generator, I could make some serious cash.

Plan a trip up this summer. Around the Forth of July John. Drive to Prince Rupert and a couple hour ferry ride from there. You wont regret it. The bay is full of silvers and the Halibut are close by. I got three boats. And most of the time ya don't have to leave the Bay. There are cabins available if ya can afford them and call ahead. As for camping. Ya can do it anywhere, no restrictions. Most fish the silvers from the beach. I like it in the boat. Don't have to walk and ya can see them and know where to cast. And all the Dungeness Crab ya can eat. Fresh Venison too. Although it is a month early. But if they are in the yard in Mamma's flowers they die. It's the sweetest venison in the world. No wild taste at all. Remember I was raised on North West Washington Elk and Deer. No offence but these Sitka Black Tail are better than an any I have had anywhere.
You or anyone interested can PM or E-Mail me for the particulars.

God, I think I'll take you up on that offer bro, and I'll bring the wife too. She's a real scout. So I can bring my.30-6 with me? Hell I could bring the whole arsenal for fun but some people look like terrorists for that sort of thing nowadays. I don't know how to fish but I'd sure like to try. I know...I know, I live in Washington and don't no how to fish. But I've been on the road most of my life not close to water. I was thinking ahead about retirement someday, and it's either Montana or Alaska.

Well ya might want to check. I think they frown on getting fire arms over the boarder. Deer season opens the first of August and runs till the end of the year. The salmon run in the bay Peters out the end of August. Let me know. I got fishing tackle. Ya can take 4 deer and use a tag on an Elk if ya see one on this Island.

I'm gonna do it... THAT is the kind of vacation I need! Guess I'll have to leave the fire-arms at home but we could do some fishing and I'd like a taste of deer that doesn't taste gamy<sp?> Oh, and the wife is an animal lover so I'll have to escape her for a few hours... That's ok, she won't even be awake during hunting hours! lol

If it's around the 4th I can definitely do it. Just need to make sure the wifey doesn't know I'm gonna go hunting!

Animal lovers- I love dogs and cats and horses and all sorts of pets but deer are fair game far as I'm concerned... That would make here insane to know I shot a deer. WOMEN?!?!

Not after she eats my Barbecued chops John. I cut the ribs off the back Along the strap. Cut them about 1 and a 1/2 inches thick leaving the straps and tenderloins on. Put em on the Barbie while the crab cooker is going. And have a few fresh oysters on the fire. Damn this snow. It may well still be here on the 4th of July. Guess I will dig the Barbie out know.

Man, I can believe there is snow there, but it's hard to believe cause were so close. Those oysters on the fire sound delicious! I love ribs, but crab is what I really want. MMMM.... I don't know how many times I've been pulled over by the police in this state for illegally catching crabs. Dungeness and not even female(and the right width) but no license. God I love those oysters and crab. But I'm generally a meat man so those ribs sound great. The wifey is a vegetarian. I know, I don't understand that ***** either but I guess you can survive somehow off of rabbit food.

I don't think I have ever seen a healthy vegetarian. I need to get off here and go fix the wipers on Rusty. Linkage fell of. The cowling is spot welded on so I just cut the vent ribs out to get at it.

Been Busy

Had a New Roof and Gutters put on the house in the last few days.

Got some new eyeglasses, really COOL, made by Nike. They have magnet
clip on shades....I be up town now....

Just droped Mr. Truck off, back at the Auto Body shop for the 2nd time. They did not do a good job the the first time.. Had some small dents put in the truck roof, when the tree hit the corner of the house. I was not happy with the work done, to me it was done half ***'ed. Ins. guy agreed, so back it went. Shop was very sorry and is more that happy to fix it correctly. Also are going to install some cab running lights, that I bought for the truck 16 years ago. For Free!!!

Been working on a business plan for starting up a new business....This is a lot of work..... So with all this going on, other projects are on HOLD!!!

But life is good and the Sun is out.

Yeah, was it windstorm that dented the truck to start with? I really wish I was out of school so I could afford mechanics. Congrats. on the new roof and gutters. Is that your plane in the avatar? Do you actually fly? God, that would be the best control I can think of to fold that stick and soar....

Ya need ta get some pic's up in you gallery John. So we can visualize the rig we are talking about. Pic's are good.
Oh ya. I got the wipers fixed on Rusty and the wives SUV out of the drive so she could run around the bay and check the mail. she will be making the 200 mile round trip to town tomorrow. Snow was plowed yesterday so she will only have a foot or so to buck on the pass. Wish I had bought the Exposition in 2000 instead of the Bravada. The bigger rig is really needed. But who was to know that we where going to adopted two boys shortly there after. Ages 5 and 7 now. Grand Kids are so cool.
