Thanks RexB. The turbo made it a New Truck..
As to the garage, it does ok, but was 50% to small the day I had it built.... It only takes abount 2 hours to make enought room to get Mr. Truck or the wifes Windstar in to do any work. All them good tools, get in the way.

Yes, the topside creeper is by far the best tool I have ever bought....I am getting aged & wore out, the bod is not what it once was......

In addition to heavy wrenching on your truck you're obviously a pilot -- that avatar a Cessna Skylane?

LOL, I hear ya' about shop space. Figured this 32'x42'x14' shop would be big enough. That's what I get for "figuring".

Yes I am and you are correct. It's 1969 Cessna 182M Skylane w/STOL. I have owned it since July 1996. I was going to become a Pro. Pilot. I started in Mach of 96, but that idea was put to rest after 9/11. Went from a shortage of pilots to, too many pilots in the course of a few weeks after that. Add in the fact that a was just over 40 at that time, was not a good idea to keep going.... So I just fly for fun now.....when I have $$$$ for gas... Lets see, 10 - 15 gals per hr X $5+ per gal for Avn gas..... I did get an STC for Auto gas, so for local flying it save a few bucks.

You have nice shop as well. A lot bigger than my shop. Mine is 24X28X9. You know I don't think the size makes a big diff. We would just keep putting in more stuff....and more stuff.....on more stuff

You ain't kidding, it hurts me to look at it.

I've got extra B&D miter saw, a 230V radial-arm saw with 14" blade, lottsa' 4/0-4/0-2/0 and 6 gauge cable from wiring this place, conduit, 600' of heavy duty galvanized guy cables like Ma Bell uses on the poles, on and on makes me sick. The dang 10'x12' pump house is full too; Lobster pots, posthole diggers, pick axes, scythes, concrete bags, sheesh. I'm getting ill just thinking about it.
Not to mention what's stacked behind the shop. Aaarrghhh!

But it's fun to collect this stuff right? I oughta' just start loading up the flatbed and haul this *!#* off.

Ok, so GTG on the island, and bring trucks................
My used parts supply is way below where it should be since I moved. While I was moving, my old landlord put a barricade up across the driveway and said "your done". Then called a scrapper and told them I hadn't been there in a few months, to come and get this stuff. The black truck is gone, along with tons of tools, the front clip for the 72, some tires, altogether about $15k worth of stuff.

Yea it's amazing how much 9/11 changed our world, and your's personally/professionally. And we have to keep after "it" or we're outta' here. That goal is getting lost.

$5 a gallon of AvGas!! I thought my $3.50 at the boat docks was bad! Course its not the high-octane stuff.

The Sound must be beau-ti-ful to fly low over.

Now I don't feel so bad about trying to use my two car garage for a combination wood, truck and chainsaw shop! Seems like I have a bit more room to work in.

Speaking of G2Gs, I started a thread so members can post convieniant time frames and places that would allow them to participate. Hopefully, this will proved planning data that will acheive max participation.

Personally, I am open any weekend, and RexB's BBQ idea on the island looks and sounds great. Looking at the geographic locations of the members that have posted to the 'Roll Call', most seem to be huddled around the sound area.

Lightbulb For Our Cigarette Smokers???

Thought I was pass this on to our Wa Member Smokers. I just ordered 9 cartons of cigarettes. Total cost with shiping is $13.99 per carton. My wife & I have been buying from this outfit for a few years. Good cigarettes for the $$$.

Send me a PM and I'll send you the name and the web link, also the brand we have been getting. I am not making anything on this, just trying to save you some bucks.

We can't use A.Indian shopping for cigs or fireworks or anything else here. Against the law, and the State Patrol pulls over exiting cars to check for tribal residence.

There was a thing on the news a couple weeks back where they actually billed someone for back taxes on cigarettes. Somewhere around $6k, IIRC.
