Get a flight sim for the puter. It's almost like being there. Flight Sim 2004 is what I use.

Refrigerator throws beer

I tried to get into gaming, but guess my attention span isn't long enough :dunno': Have a GTA San Andreas don't use anymore...

Good Shot! video http://www.metacafe.com/watch/445498..._refrigerator/

Refrigerator will toss you can of beer

RALEIGH, N.C. - When John Cornwell graduated from Duke University last year, he landed a job as software engineer in Atlanta but soon found himself longing for his college lifestyle. So the engineering graduate built himself a reminder of life on campus: a refrigerator that can toss a can of beer to his couch with the click of a remote control.

It took the 22-year-old Cornwell about 150 hours and $400 in parts to modify a mini-fridge common into the beer-tossing contraption, which can launch 10 cans of beer from its magazine before needing a reload.

With a click of the remote, fashioned from a car's keyless entry device, a small elevator inside the refrigerator lifts a beer can through a hole and loads it into the fridge's catapult arm. A second click fires the device, tossing the beer up to 20 feet — "far enough to get to the couch," he said.

Is there a foam explosion when the can is opened? Not if the recipient uses "soft hands" to cradle the can when caught, Cornwell said.

In developing his beer catapult, Cornwell said he dented a few walls and came close to throwing a can through his television. He's fine-tuned the machine to land a beer where he usually sits at home.

The most beer he has run through the machine was at a party, when he launched a couple of 24-can cases. "I did launch a lot watching the Super Bowl."

A video featuring the device is a hit on the Internet, where more than 600,000 people have watched it at metacafe.com, earning Cornwell more than $3,000 from the Web site.

Yeah, I do like those. But Im a hardcore linux user and the only unfortunate part about that is you cant play any good games on it. I guess I could take out my other hardrive with XP on it but I'm just not a proprietary software fan. Just an itch I have

And it'd have to have a bigger magazine...10 beers would just last to halftime.

That guy is a heckuva' tweaker, in the 10 ring every shot.

Well John at 5 cents on the dollar, and most run, all we got to do is get them to the coast. Load em on a ship and dump then at your place and Rex and Mike. Family's got 20 acres between tree ranches in the Shelton area. That should hold a bunch. As for a Pilot i can take off and get us anywhere. I just ain't never landed anything. HAAAA But no prob. By the time we get there I will be good at that to. Or resting in peace.

I'm starting to like the sound. I got ten acres in Spanaway(far from the coast) but we could hold some there. It sounds excing and that is my middle name.

Mike I'm thinking we could hire an old freighter down there for Penney's on the dollar. We just got to keep it afloat till we get it unloaded in the Sound. No tariffs no nothing. Just bring them home and deal with it then. Be like Indiana Jones.
