Arctic, grandkids must be cool. I have One kid at 9 by a failed marriage and me and wifey are trying to work on another. Yet shes 44 years old and I dont know if she's to old now for children. I mean we have a 15 year difference. Goddam ants, I went out riding and somehow at the speed I was going they still managed to get in my pants.

Nice! That's gotta' be a little slice of paradise when soaring over our beautiful Sound area.

Over Whidbey, we had 3 retired Navy pilots that bought fast monoplanes and practiced dog fights and formations over my house. They were very entertaining and obviously having a lot of fun. Didn't see too much of them last year, prolly the price of gas was keeping them grounded. Hope they get airborne more this summer, we go out on the deck and admire the acrobatics.

Im going out on a limb because I have been warned, but I met two Airborne soldiers today. I had to tell them what a good job I thought they were doing and they looked at me surprised and thanked me, then told me they usually dont get that kind of response. A damn shame... even if you don't agree with this war, it's not the soldiers fault. They are just doing their job.

Sorry Charlene... I was trying to be good but it's so hard for cowboys.

Intent is the Main Thing

Sometimes we say or write, knowing what our intent is, but not completely expressing our thought and intent...This leaves things open to interpitation by the reader or listener.

Going out on a limb for what? Been warned?

EDIT Never mind, I see it now in another thread. That's Carlene without an "h".

I thank every GI i meet or chat with on a forum. Here, the touchy topics are discussed in the "Members Only" section for subscribers. Looking over those threads it usually stays civil, though emphatic, and must make blood boil sometimes. :~)

Personally i usually stay out of them cuz been there, done that, and i've seen flaming rip apart two of my past favorite forums.

Yeah, I gotta join that members only section. Arctic was telling me that yesterday. Sometimes I have a litttle too much to drink and run my mouth when I shouldn't about touchy subjects. It's forgotten now.
