515 000 km on mine. The second tranny it has is almost toast, and it doesnt quite run like it used to. Burns a little oil now. Thats 309 000 miles. It will tolerate alot of bull**** but i dont run it hard anymore. I expect another 100 000 miles but the something will happen before then. The tranny will die this year.

Got an 88 150 with 139,000 miles only things needed done were routine maintenance and a clutch...oh and new dual exhaust....darn i hate when stock exhaust rots off gives me a reason to be loud
233,000 on the bone stock 79 300-6. I got the truck not running. Replaced the duraspark controller and it ran decently except for the clogged oil passages going to the head. The head didn't get a drop of oil in the few minutes I had it running. Rather than going through the hassle of making it road worthy, I just picked up my current efi 88 engine with 77,000 miles and put it in there. Better gas mileage for a daily driver anyway. Putting a 4 speed granny with all new comonents behind it. I expect to get quite a few miles out of this truck.
I have two spare 300's (the one out of the truck and a spare) that I hope to eventually use to make a high performance turbo engine for this truck. One of these days.
Mine was a runway work truck and has 270000. I bought it as a work truck for a beater to keep my 1994 truck with 130000 from getting "too old" too quick
My Dad gave me a 95 f 250 it needed a few things, but hey some wheels right! Well afew years have past since then and I have learned, SON OF A BXXXX!!!!,tough damn truck!! Thank GOD for I-six's huh. 297,147 and counting. No overhaules or major work just routine maintence. She's still all stock and she'll stay that way for a while. I plan to rebuild soon , but i'm tring to see how far this gal will ride, and my bank account rise. I give her hell,I'm from MS. country as a butterbean. So imagine 297,147 and still kickin up all this Tallalhala gumbo swamp mud. Thank's Pop!!!!!
2 years ago i bought a '91 F150 4.9L w/ 280,000 miles for $600 and drove it for a year before swapping it for one nearly identical except for less miles and way less rust. This one's been salvaged, not sure if it's 115,000 or 215,000 but is very reliable - the 'ol rust bucket made a believer of me.
My son & I just repowered his 82 F150 with a 4.9! We tossed the 302/C6 and he spends half the time at the gas station. My son fell in the category of "I need HP" But now the truck has more usable power and NO OIL LEAKS!
We converted a 94 EFI back to carburetor . It was easier to match what was in the truck concerning wiring etc. I had to add an electric fuel pump as the block casting is flush where fuel pump mounts.

I just turned 144,000 on my 88. Gave it it's 48th oil change. About when should I expect to do a timing chain on it? Truck mainly drives on the highway. very easy life, no offroading or pulling anything. Just basic transportation to work and back.
