Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Been busy all morning long since about the time dawn cracked. Started out at 19 and scattered overcast. Up to 43 now.
Got an email from Powers MotorSports saying they are unable to get any further support from Warn on the broken / defective snowplow. Called them to ask why Warn is refusing Warranty and repair or my request to return the item so that I know what I'm walking into when I call Warn. They have not returned my phone call. I'm beginning to question the business ethics of PowersMotor Sports. I'll try calling again here in a few minutes.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 18°, clear and the pond is once again frozen completely over. On the bright side, it looks like the potential for a beautiful spring day just as soon as the sun starts heating things up and melts the frost off.
Sam, from Powers Motorsports called me back yesterday afternoon. She and Brandon (Service manager) say that Warn, after an initial blaming response, have stopped responding to them. They think they responded to the first failure and then, trying to claim it was installed wrong or that I was using it improperly, they walked away from dealing with it. I'll be calling Warn today.
Afternoon all. Spent the morning trimming a few trees and getting ready to mow. Nice day out there. I may have found a chair and sat in the sun just for a bit trying to recharge and gather the gumption to spend the next 80 minutes walking behind a mower.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Started out at 22 just before sunup when the dogs decided it was time to go outside and rough house. Suns breaking the tree line now and it's up to 27.1, 2° in just the last few minutes.
I got in touch with Warn yesterday about the snowplow. They were acting like they had never heard of the problems before or of Powers Motorsports. Awfully strange for a Clackamas Oregon Company that had one of their company reps run parts from Clackamas to Sublimity on the first failure. Anyway, they wanted the pictures, text and email strings between Powers Motorsports and I, and a copy of the email that they sent to Powers after the first failure wherein they admitted the locking pin may not be engaging sufficiently. I'm not holding my breath on a satisfactory resolution to this.
River is at its average Spring height with some water in the 'snow melt' channels but nothing like in past years. Snow is coming off the mountain in a slow melt instead of a rapid all in one week melt.
I get to finish up the taxes this weekend. I wanted to have them all done by now but I had to wait for some paperwork from the State of Oregon, which apparently, they didn't seem to be in any rush to get to me.
