Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got the Wildfire Hazard Classification and WUI Appeal filed. I'm sure hoping the Legislature realizes the boondoggle this thing is and the effort to repeal the Map is successful. The map is ridiculous and I could swear it was made by Kindergarteners and not OSU School of Forestry. All of it has been done by some AI type algorithms and Aireal Recon type reviews using old maps and pictures. Our two outbuildings are included in the edge of the Wildfire Urban Interface zone they have drawn on there, but our house, a house across the river and downstream and a house about a mile NE of us is out. in fact, the WUI they have drawn on the map only includes one residence. Outbuildings are not supposed to count for structure count.
