Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got back to Bravo around 1530. Interesting drive back. I car wreck, 1 car fire (both tying up traffic on I5) and one jerk at Costco.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 19 degrees this morning before sunrise. Temp has been climbing pretty fast since the sun cleared the trees. Up to 34.4 now.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Spent the morning working on in house projects and this afternoon working on stuff outside.
Got some work done on the Security Camera System and found I had a bad camera in the system. Got it replaced with one I had here in reserve, and Blink is sending a replacement no charge.
Neither key fob for the F350 has been working even after putting new batteries in them. Been using the driver door key pad for a year or more to lock and unlock. I got two replacement keys & Fobs for the 2011 350 King Ranch cut at a locksmith Wednesday. Took them out to the pickup today and I programmed them. Following the instruction got the key FOB buttons working but I would get an “Ignition System Error” message. Checked out You Tube University and there was a very well made instructional video. Completely, as in radically, different method.
Took about 2 minutes to program both new keys after that. It also explained why Ford and Costco told me I needed two working keys.
Ford had quoted me $300 for one new key, cut and programmed, providing I had two working keys. More $$$ if I didn’t. The people that are occasionally at Costco quoted me $250 a key with the same two key requirements. They added that if I didn’t have two working keys, I’d have to go to Ford.
So, $25 for two key fob blanks, $10 to get them cut an a few minutes figuring out the programming and I was done.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 42 and overcast. "Slight" chance of rain. Some clouds off to the west look pretty dark and heavy. It was 26 a couple of hours ago and has warmed 17° so there won't be any snow.
Meanwhile, our lake is forming nicely in the meadow from the snow melt at higher elevations.
Morning Chris. The sky just opened up! One heck of a rainstorm for only being a "slight chance". Was on my way out the door to get a couple of things done. Guess I'll rethink that for now. I've got two cameras I've been debating on putting up. I guess I could do that. Both will be going on the decks of the Rec / Storage Building. Under cover so should be dry.
It's been a nice day here in my neck of the woods. Spent most of the day at an Earth Day Fair today, I was somewhat surprised at how well it went, more of a craft fair. But there were a couple of interesting educational booths there.
