Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Beautiful day around here today. Took the dogs for a walk down the lane to the cattle guard and then back to the Rec / Guest Building. About a mile and a quarter. Nothing major. Not sure who was panting more, the dogs or the Warden.
I'm going to have to light off a couple of bug bombs in the Rec building. A ton of fly's.have shown up in the last week or so. All dead lining the windows. Going to be a fun sweep and vacuum job. We've had this problem before, just not sure where they are coming from or how to stop them. Tried a couple of things but I guess it is time to break out the bombs and maybe after that hang a couple of fly strips.
I'm afraid our Rhubarb may have not made it through the winter. We'll see, the ground is just now getting cleared of snow and starting to warm up.
Some nice views around the place today..... Young buck deer came trotting through the yard tripping several of the cameras. No antler regrowth yet, just little buttons where the old ones shed. Snows been gone a week or so and we're starting to see a little green. Pond and geese... Rec / Guest Building. 2nd story stairs and sky bridge to the pool table loft. You can see some of the flies on the floor. Never have seen more than a couple flying. Come out at night maybe?
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Started out just before sunup with a frosty 25. Sunup cranked the heat up and we’re at 52 and climbing now.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Survived the VA today…just barely. Heading back to Bravo in the morning. Ended up with a minor surgical procedure that hadn’t been planned, so too sore and too tired to do anymore driving today. Good news is they didn’t find anything that indicated any problem. Bad news is we still have no idea what caused the problem.
