Made it back to Bravo with Ridge & plow in tow. We didn’t have to plow our way into Bravo. 4WD all the way in, the Warden sucked her breath in a few times, pickup in 4WD chattered a number of times but we made it. I’ll have to plow in the morning. No way the cars are going to make it currently.

UTV & plow is off the trailer and ready to go. Everything except the blade and springs are new and replaced on warranty.
Still less than impressed with the blade angle locking system or the skid shoe retention system. They appear weak and prone to failure. We’ll see how this goes. They are also saying to keep it at 5 mph or less.

Well, the new plow assembly seems to be doing okay. When I got to closely looking at it, I can see some differences in the way this one was assembled and the pitch of the blade is a bit differently.
Got a lot of catching up done. There are a couple of corners on the lane that have some hard ice ridges built up. Need to work on those tomorrow and try to the lane a little wider. The good news is that I can get both cars out

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 35 and overcast - oops, took my eye off the ball and it just dropped to 33.. No precipitation although Wx guessers are calling for snow, maybe rain, maybe rain and snow. The clouds look to be quite threatening but haven't dropped anything yet..
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Almost got through the day. Was on the way back down the lane cleaning up some edges of the snow berms and a couple of big snow ***** that had rolled out into the lane and....plow failed. Same thing as last one with the mounting plate and locking pin. Bent out of shape at the drop pin. Metal isn't heavy enough and the pin doesn't drop through the hole far enough to handle prolonged chattering, bouncing and pushing snow.
Sent them a message. Told them I was done with the cheap light weight replacement - even if it is a Warn. Warn needs to stay with their winches! They could get me the one I ordered to start with, or I'd find another dealership that will.
