Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Kawasaki was brought home today. Not real happy with Powers over it but I can live with their substitution I guess. Turns out they when to Warn (the winch company) and had “custom mount system made for the Warn Blade and swapped out the entire system with it. When I saw the pic they sent, I suspected something was up as that is not a Kawasaki mount system. They told me they were going to check with Warn for a blade. They didn’t say they were replacing the entire mount system. So, the Kawasaki Hydraulic Actuator & Quick Release System is not there. It as manual only blade angle adjustment whereas with the Kow System I could have adjusted the angle from inside the heated cab. It does have release pins but it won’t be as quick nor easy.
It appears to be a good strong system and we do have a snow storm moving in. They also refunded around $1500 difference between the two plow systems and they dropped the charge on the 54” LED light bar. So, I’ll take it home. But they will like me even less than they do now if the system doesn’t work as well or isn’t a heavy enough construction. I have several Warn products and have never had a problem with them so, we’ll see.

You are really trying to age me.🤣
Yes, I remember that commercial extemely well. Personally I Had a 500 Kow, then a 1976 Z1-KZ 900 that just departed a year and a half ago.
Professionally, I spent 10 years riding 5 different Kawasaki KZ1000P motorcycles equipped with some fancy light systems. Kow also supplied us with two jet skis for 2 summers of test and evaluation.
“Let the Good Times Roll” was our Motto and we stole the CHiPs theme for our theme song. 🤪😵💫😁👍
Morning Chris and all to follow...
Happy FRIDAY!
I had an old Kawasaki 750 many years back. Last bike I ever had or rode. Great bike, but I seem invisible to other drivers.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Wet this morning at 41.

When I was stationed in Hawaii with my little Honda CB350, we used to say every car there was built with 30 mil gunsights on the drivers windshield. Perfect for lining up on Motorcycles & riders at bumper range.
Checked cameras at Bravo. By the time we get back up there Saturday evening, we very well may be needing the new machines to get from the Highway to the House.
