Good evening gang, got though the memorial service this morning for a Navy Vet and then Diane and I took the bike out for a ride, just got back a bit ago.....
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Heading back to Bravo today.
Where are you putting all those beds Chris? Seems to me you’ve poured enough concrete in the last two years to pave the driveway twice and pave half of Seaside?!?!?!???🤣😂🤣😇
Jim, we will be removing the railroad ties for the flower bed at the road on our side of the duplex.
I need to count how many blocks I have poured so far.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 60.8 this morning under mostly clear skies.
Took the 'scenic' route back to Bravo Compound yesterday and made a pretty much full day drive out of it.
Hit the A&W in Sweet Home to full parking stalls. We did find a place to park out back and went inside. Got lucky, they were clearing a booth just after we got inside and no one but us were waiting for one. Andy has a sweet little gem there in Sweet Home with that A&W. It's definitely a bit better than the A&W in Oakridge.
Foster and Green Peter were absolute mad houses and the Highway looked like a boat parade was going on.
Stopped for a break at the Old Growth Grotto just beyond Tombstone summit. Nice trees, but the trees on Saddle Bag Mtn. are much bigger. Made a few other stops and mini hikes with the last one being at the Headwaters of the Metolius. The dogs took us for a walk down the short trail to see that, but the scrub bush and the scrub trees have the gurgling rocks blocked from view. Best to see that when he leaves are not on the trees there. Still a nice scenic little walk. Got to Sisters too late for ice cream and we weren't hungry going through Tumalo, so it was on to Costco. They were kicking everyone out as we got to the door, but they let us in to get a couple of gallons of milk. Topped the fuel tank off with $3.299 gas and headed south. Got to Bravo around 1930, unloaded, crashed and burned.
