Right now, I think we are just as stable as we have been as far as banking goes. We have our full service bank and 3 credit unions counting the Navy Credit Union so barring a massive EM pulse we should be good.
It's too bad your old bank pulled out of town. Ours almost did that here, but I think the small revolt stopped it. I would no longer call it a full service bank, but at least we still have a brick-and-mortar bank here to go to. We did have to move the Safety Deposit box but we are into that once a year if that so it isn't a big problem and the kids know where it is at.
Good soggy morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 43.9, scattered showers with some ugly dark gray clouds overhead and more darker clouds moving in from the beach.
Was thinking of taking the pickup and camper to D Lake SP this afternoon so we could walk the beach looking for glass floats. With the weather forecast, that isn't going to happen. We do have a $50 gift card for Cracker Barrel. Happens to be a Cracker Barrel right next door to Cabela's. A point not lost on the Warden when I suggested a lunch at Cracker Barrel today or tomorrow.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
We had thought about going over to Lincoln City with the camper and spending the weekend looking for glass floats. We decided that 100 glass floats scattered over 10 miles of beach in this weather with the not very nice forecast was not something we really wanted to do.
So, we took a drive up to Tualatin stopping at Camping World to get a propane hose with a credit slip we had and then stopping at Cabela's. We wanted to pick up a 6-compartment camp cupboard they had on sale for $40 off. Something else we want to go back and look at in the morning. So, we are planning on using a gift card we have for Cracker Barrel for breakfast in the morning.
Oh, and this kind of followed us home as well.....
Replica 1860 Army 44. Union Army Civil War Mainstay. It was also the favorite weapon of choice for Texas gunfighter John Wesley Hardin and other gunmen. It was on sale plus the military discount. With accumulated club points, there was no out of pocket expense. That's a good thing.
