In the US, once your truck has shipped, the rail car will be available to the dealer. So you can call them and ask. Then you can call the CSX automated line and enter the car number. It will tell you when it departed the last stop and what the location of the next stop is. See earlier in this thread for the phone number and more detailed instructions.
Not sure if you can track into Canada. Its probably handed off to a Canadian railroad and you would have to see if that rail line has a tracking system.
Let us know what you find out.
Hmmm, my dealer only knows as much as is shown on the Mach E website. Looks like I need to just be patient and wait for the call that it has arrived at the dealer. Lol.
Ford.com shows "scheduled for production" & Mach-E tracker shows "in order processing". The spreadsheet I have checked (undisclosed # of times) is even more current than the consumer Ford tracker and displays "in production". Personally never having more than a 1/2 ton, my dealer has so far advised me a day ahead each phase and dealt with numerous emails (maybe a few changes: model from 350 to 450 and Antimatter Blue to Rapid Red to Atlas Blue so I am lucky, but extremely grateful for this forum and spreadsheet Phoenixfla!
Here's a trick for those of you like me who are calling the CSX railcar tracking phone number frequently:
If you save the right string of numbers, pauses, and # signs as a contact on your phone, you can automate the entire input process so you don't have to type or say anything.
First, put one or two pauses between each part of the process. On most phones, entering a "pause" gets represented as a comma in the string.
Second, for the part where you need to enter the letters for the railcar initials, use a series of two-digit numbers where the first digit is the keypad number with the letter you want and the second digit indicates if you want the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th letter for that keypad number. For example, the letter "T" would be 81 and the letter "X" would be 92. After the last number, enter a # sign.
Third, for the part where you need to enter the railcar numbers, enter a # sign after the numbers.
Last, for the part where they ask you to say "Done", enter two ## signs.
Put that all together and you'll get a contact phone number which looks like this: (800)235-2352,1,81814192#,983148#,##
Now each call to track my truck from Louisville to Seattle is much easier!
Once a truck has been scheduled for production/in order processingcan any changes be made to the build? I asked my dealer and they said no but curious if any others ran across this?
Just got word from CybermanD over on BOF that my truck has a build day of 9/7! I haven’t gotten an email from Ford with the day yet, only the week of 9/6. Hopefully it’ll be here soon!

I just checked with my dealer and I’ve got a build day of 9/12. I think we’ll see the email from Ford, and some changes on our tracking info sometime on Monday or Tuesday.

It's a no. Sometimes they can make minor changes if they try hard.

Yours is likely on the same train car as mine. For some reason my 3 trucks had wildly different estimated deliveries.

I have been tracking my truck via the CSX tracker. A couple hours ago it arrived at Fort Madison, IA. I had found a webcam for that rail station and was able to watch the train with my truck roll through using the time stamp given on the call. Pretty cool...
Mine keeps getting pushed back, maybe a Monday or Tuesday build. On the positive side, my fender flares, airbags and sliding fifth wheel hitch have all come in! hahaha
