I think I’ve complained enough…. Have a communication now that they plan to put it on a rail car tomorrow, then convoy from the depot in Cincinnati. That’s what Ford wanted to do in the first place….. sigh.
…..another communication from Ford later today. Someone really dropped the ball on my truck at the plant. Apparently, they actually did just “forget“ to ship it. Believe it or not…. They’re having a carrier load my truck and take it straight to my dealership. Same-day delivery guaranteed and they are leaving either today or tomorrow. Unbelievable.

I believe they forgot it, I find it unbelievable they are going out of their way to ship it directly. That's good news and a small jesture toward making it right.

Wow......good they finally figured it out. The way my truck got shipped was bizarre at best and created the problem that now has it stuck in a loading yard in Chicago. It's kind of like airspace around an airport....when a plane is in the wrong position in the approach pattern, problems begin to multiply quickly. I have learned recently that vehicle delivery's into large rail classification/loading yards are similar......very timed, sequential, and ordered operations. A truck (mine) in the wrong place at the wrong time is just stuck until it can be re-sequenced into the proper loading flow.
Maybe Ford has their "B" team working the loading yard because they "forgot" and left your truck sitting, and how they shipped my truck made no sense to anyone from my dealer to the rail hub facility manager.
F450 XLT 4X4 CC. I called my dealer today to ask about adding upfitter switches and the "hazard strobes" (or whatever they're called) and he said since I had a production date, the process was for him to notify Ford and those items may or may not get added to my order depending on scheduling. I don't know if this was a coincidence or a result of my phone call, but I received an email from Ford notifying me that my production week has been pushed back from 09/27 to 10/04. Still not a big deal, just hopeful the delay is because I added a couple of things and not because of other scheduling issues. I just wanted to share with my brothers and sisters here what happened to me today.
Unfortunately the STP date is not in the Ford data, so I have to manually review each window sticker as they become and add them to the spreadsheet. It's a bit of a hassle, but that date tell us so much that it is worth it.
ETA - your window sticker still not pulling up for me. I'll check later today.
So for the last few hours I haven’t been able to pull up my window sticker from the Mach E site… the info still populates but no sticker. All the info and the sticker work from the Ford tracker though… I know others have had this issue… but does anyone know why it does this?

This is even more interesting to me based on my 20 day delay at the factory. Is it coincidental that it was released the day after I asked to speak to the regional rep? I had a feeling they forgot about mine too. The one thing I am sure of is that they will never tell me.
Great news that you’ll finally have your truck soon Doug!!!
Just updated my build week on the tracker. I've been pushed back one week from 9/13 to 9/20. Probably has to do with the scale back from 3 shifts to 2 shifts on my original build week. And the waiting continues. Oh hell. What's another week when you've already waited 10 weeks.

Thanks ….. I’m going to be a lot more comfortable when I actually can see it! Who knows what actually happens - we’ll never know. So everything at your truck delivery was A-ok??

It’s on a train headed to Oregon, currently in Minot, ND. Is not here yet, but at least it’s out of that mess at the factory.
IT SHOWED UP A WEEK EARLY! Tracking still shows it being here between the 11th and the 17th. Sitting beside my 18 Trade-in.
Now just waiting on final PDI and to sign on the dotted line! Supposed to go back at 4pm to pick it up.
