I just counted how many trucks on the tracker were sent to production this week which presumably will be built next week, and we have 50! It's going to be a busy week for them!

that is a lot! I hope they get them all built and get a head of schedule, for everyone’s sake!
They might be compressing or rearranging many of the scheduled trucks. Just got an email from Ford stating my build week has been moved forward from 9/13 to 8/30.
<snip> WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
So I exchanged emails with my sales guy about the above schedule change, He says his data says the build "date" is 9/3 which would be Friday of week of 8/30, I assume he's (or the GM) is looking at VVR. Perhaps he doesn't get the difference between build week and build date. Hopefully it's a Friday morning truck!

This makes me feel there is some truth to the rumor Ford is gating production based on parts/material availability (to avoid parking trucks) and that parts/material situation is likely improving. Hopefully other folks got moved up or scheduled for the first time this week.
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
damn I have a 9/13 build week also. I’ll follow up on Monday with my dealer and see if I got moved up. They didn’t input my e Mail apparently so I have to reach out to them.

I guess I'll need to talk to the bank this week.
Same build week here, gambled and locked a 6 week 60 month at 1.89% with USAA yesterday-rates are good. Glad they moved you up, saw order date, you've done your time!

Y’all are braver than me… I’ve decided I’ll wait til it’s at least in transit! Lol

USAA pre approvals are good for 45 days. I have been watching and their rates have not changed since May.

I just haven't seen enough to know that Ford is rolling smoothly through these now... there's still hang ups here and there... I was told at the dealership that my rates through them were only good for 30 days, although I am going to get rates from some other places too so I will go before my truck comes in and shop around... just want to wait til a little closer so it doesn't fall through though. My build week is 9/6 too.
Drove up to Oregon last night/today to pick up the truck. The last one I had was a 2013 F550 XL. Man, what an improvement. It feels wayyy too nice to be a “commercial” chassis 😂
Heading back to San Diego now and made a quick pit stop to take a few pics.
If your new - It's Sunday, so the tracker is returning a lot of errors. When it tries to retrieve a record, and isn't able to, it shows up as blank data on the spreadsheet.
I believe Ford runs some type of update on the server Sunday.

Everything typically resolved by Mid-Monday.
Yeah, this is the worst I have seen the tracker sheet... almost all blanks... lol. Even when I try to pull up my VIN on the Mach E site it won't give me anything... that's ok though... it's getting closer and it does look like things are moving along better!

Phoenixfla have you been able to track your truck's movement yet? I'm curious to see the train route it takes and where it gets on the auto transport for you. I'm in the northwest part of Florida and figure my truck will take a similar train route once it gets built. Maybe get off the train around Jacksonville then auto transport from there?

Yes, it left bound for Birmingham Alabama August 19th at 9 p.m. the next day it was bound for Manchester Georgia and left at 8 p.m. in the next day on the 21st it left for Baldwin Florida at 9 a.m. and arrived at 8 p.m. and has been there since.
I figured it will arrive at the Tampa Depot somewhere around midweek and take up to one more week to deliver to my dealer. Maybe more maybe less.
Mine has been sitting at an Ohio rail yard for a week. Frustrating.
I wonder how many people would do a factory pickup, given the opportuinity.
I would have gladly jumped a flight to Louisville and drive home the 12 or so hours. Heck, it would be in my garage right now if that was and option, instead of on a train.
I guess the problem is that you don't know when its going to be built, until its already built. Plus post-production options could take 1,2,3 or more days. You could not book a flight until Ford said "its ready". So then they would have to store them until you get there. If it was too popular it would be a big operation to manage. They would probably have to show you the truck and all its quirks and features like a good salesperson would do. Ok, i guess it may not be too practical.
