Pals says my truck has been delivered!!! Just texted my dealer to let him know, and I'm heading after my F150 trade and the check book! Will be a fun weekend of burning diesel fuel!

And your delivery window said 9/6 to 9/12! This gives me some hope that mine will arrive early too!
Just received a call from the dealer and he was standing in front of the transport looking at my truck on the trailer! Planning to pick up a one-way rental car in the next 2 hours so I can hit the road by 4pm to drive from San Diego to the dealer in Oregon with an ETA to the dealer at around 11am tomorrow morning. Going to be doing a lot of driving over the next 2 days - about 2100 miles roundtrip
Dealer just called and said my truck has been delivered. None of the tracking apps show that it has been delivered yet. Even the palsapp still shows pending.
Question for those that tracked their trucks via rail. My last update was it arrived in Kirkwood, OH this past Sunday. Does CSX give updates once the railcar leaves a certain area? Basically wondering if mine has been sitting for five days or if it may have departed and the next update won't be until it arrives at its destination.
I received my rail car number today and successfully tracked my car.
A few notes on tracking:
(1) I mistakenly thought you always only have 2 letters before the numbers, so I was dropping the first two letters off my rail car number of TTGX975089. So whether there is 2, 3 or 4 letters, you need all of them. My mistake.
(2) As others have noted, the voice recognition does not work well BUT you can put the numbers and letters in with your keypad.
The menu eventually tells you how to enter the letters, but here is a summary.
You first press the number that corresponds with the letter on your keypad, then you press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to indicate what position that letters is for the corresponding number.
Therefore to put in my rail car letters of TTGX, I pressed:
8-1-8-1-4-1-9-2
Make sense? The "T" was the 1st letter under number 8, whereas the "X" was the 2nd letter under number 9.
This made it immensely easier since I tried 4 times to say the letters.
This is a small town dealer but some of the best guys I've ever dealt with. Not the typical schmoes that you normally find.
Did you track yours on palsapp? The Ford trackers aren't even showing mine as shipped yet.
Yes I have been and it's just making me more annoyed because it doesn't make sense...from my earlier post:
Good news, tracker says my truck finally shipped (1 week after being built). Checked Palsapp and it says the Origin is Logistics Park Elwood IL, which doesn't make much sense. Have folks found Palsapp to be very accurate? Assuming it is the randomness of this process is truly comical at this point. I guess this is what happens when you let computers schedule everything without any human oversight. Here's a distance breakdown that make's it comical:
The way I would send it = KTP to Dealer - 4 hours 9 Minutes (straight interstate)
The way Ford sent it = KTP to Elwood IL Logistics (BNSF Chicago) to Dealer - 8 hours 30 minutes

My truck is headed to Birmingham, AL currently.
Where do you get a rail car number from? Not seeing anything like that in Palsapp or I'm missing it...
