(ipr shouldnt cause a..no start anyway)....yes it will.
also, not having power on output lug of gpr means either, the pcm senses that your motor is already warm or the pcm ground signal to the gpr went south. Mine did. Now i have a ground switch controlling that gpr

ya thanks. I wasn’t sure consequences about possible IPR malfunction I did pull it out and apart with other work and change orings. All seemed ok and confident it went back together correctly, but it could be an issue
ya when I first changed gpr the output lug was giving power, but I checked it again after and it wasn’t. Truck is inside garage and was cranking for a while so not sure what temp it would shut down at or if could be the pcm? It seems like I have the click on the key turn (as per video) but I guess doesn’t guarantee pcm is working
As I continue to trouble shoot, my first question is why did I go from two codes (p1000 and 0381) with my old GPR to multiple with the new GPR? (Maybe just because new one was working properly and opened the circuit to show the other codes?)
a detailed reader during attempted start up would be helpful
Where are you located? There's probably a fellow FTEr nearby with the equipment needed.
up north in Calgary AB.
Harder to work on 7.3’s up here because of the prices here and time to get parts sent up. Ford dealer here wanted $125 per fuel line fitting and after market parts don’t stock parts like diesel orings, riffraff, etc south of the border.
I'm no guru by any means, but reading through here I wanted to spitball an idea since you worked on the fuel bowl. I can't tell if you're saying it's trying to fire off or not, so is there any chance that the fuel bowl heater has shorted out and blown the fuse?

It’s cranking but not catching. And no sign of it catching. I think as per above it’s fuse 30 so I will check it but it would show signs of starting I assume

If there is smoke out tailpipe your getting fuel and glowplugs could be the issue
download this picture so you can zoom in
thanks for this. I will start working thru I replaced the glow plugs with ford/motor craft along with the valve cover gasket so they should be fine No/minimal smoke from exhaust as I crank it
thanks. That’s a good idea as I plan on keeping the excursions and doing more work to it. Will probably do both
i have an older diabl sport tuner that is specific to 7.3 Powerstroke, and has diagnostic options as well as real time data, streaming and log playback. options, but when I pick egr in streaming, it says not compatible with vehicle
WTS light coming on? We're going to need to see those ICP and IPR DC numbers.
yes wait to start appears and goes off normally after about 8-10 secs. But then comes back On a sec or two after start cranking. Can t remember if that part is normal or not.
