Nice to have ex back running. Did some flushing of coolant today and needs more to fully clean it out. Will drive it a bit more before I flush again.
All seems good with ex running now as per short video below.
But I am getting a pronounced hissing sound on acceleration, seems like right behind the steering wheel from the gages area. Like pressure releasing as you let off accelerated. Is fairly consistent when on throttle. Some of possibilities online are ebpv or a leak in turbo seal. I had everything on top back of engine apart so there are a few possibilities. I will try record it next time I drive it and post.
My first thought is boost leak. Did you ever hook up map sensor lines, wastegate red and green lines? Also check your intercooler and intake spyder boots. Do you have a boost gauge?

yes hooked up red and green lines I took a quick look at sounder boots and seemed ok but will check again. I have boost gauge and the forscan lite app which will have the same.
Hey All, I should probably start another thread re coolant lines but I am looking to replace them but ford discontinued the lines right behind the cab on drivers side. The clip that goes from metal pipe to rubber has a slight leak I’m guessing I can just use some sort of universal connector or have to replace the whole tube with something similar? Th aks
Try one of these with the quick connect. Also you can buy the quick connect separate. Likely you could just replace the oring inside, but usually the plastic is very brittle by this point and likely to break when messing with.
I also have to sort out the radio and windows having a delayed turn on after the truck is started Lately it has lasted almost 10-15 mins before turn on when it’s occurred, not all the time. I’ve read some on it already but if any suggestions that would be great
lucky they had heating connector part 800409 available at parts store here. Not so lucky that the 3/4 quick connect end was too big. Pipe looks like 1/2 or 5/8’s. 1st pick is new connector. 2nd shows it beside old one
Mod, I had the same problem with my Windows and radio delay. I jumpered it at the fuse box so they always work even if the key isn't on. It was the easiest fix. I sold that truck but it's still set up that way probably going on 10 yrs

ya I’ve heard that as a possible option. If it’s not a quick fix then that’s probably my best option. May have to try a few of the obvious fixes first I know I have a drain on my battery now. And couple error codes. P1832 and p1836. Solenoid Circuit failure. Seems like when I get out of truck and touch ground I get a small but noticeable shock
