This a follow up to this question. The "road feel" issue turned out to be a worn out steering column. I replaced the housing and all bearings, and it made a huge difference. The rough bearings where masking the feedback from road.

My truck is 27.5 front and rear. I just measured it 5mins ago. This is after thousands miles over the road. This is right where it was when I finished the job last year. So the issue seams to be your front. How many shims did you install? I have one 2 degree shim on each side.

Thanks. I bought the WFO shims but my mechanic said they didn't fit into the bottom of the spring pack, I guess the hole was too small. Apparently it needs to be drilled larger? Anyway I had told him I wanted the caster at 5.5, he got it too 4.5 with no shims. It's riding great. My concern is my back is almost 2 inches lower so we want to put the rear block in but it's tapered and can only go with the fat part at back because of the bump stop part. Right now it's driving awesome with no driveline vibration at all....that's with no shims front or rear. I just can't figure out why the factory tapered block is thick part at the back and everyone else says thick part goes towards the front on the rear axle.

The thick part of the block goes to the back in a factory configuration for how oem lined up the driveline. When you lift it what worked at the factory can no longer be applicable.

I would try and figure out why the front ended up higher. I have no blocks or shims in the rear either, and the truck drives perfect. How about your track bar? I installed a Icon adjustable.

I bought an adjustable Freedom off-road bar. Alignment is great and it's riding great, I just hate that the front is 28.5 almost 29 inches! I wonder if they sent me the wrong front springs, they were labeled 22210 but maybe they're the 24410's? Crazy. I'm at 27 in the back from center of the wheel to the arch which is what everyone else is too.

I know the thread is kinds old, but I figured out the wfo shims today. They are made to be bolted onto the spring pack, not sat on. I realized this AFTER I drilled the holes out so the bottom of the spring pack would fit in it.

Long story short, new shims were ordered.
