Afternoon all. Busy weekend.
Jim - You ought to see those modern Wake boats with the $100-$200K price tags. Makes the one in you photo look like a beginners model.
Well that looked like Fun Evan...NOT! I managed to mow my yard too for the first time. Got the last of my logs cut up so now I just have to split it all. Got the boat ready to go and finally permanently mounted my onboard charger.
Wife and I made it to the river with the tub to do a shake down run and have a picnic lunch since it was a nice afternoon. Boat fired up and sounded nice. Backed off the trailer and wife parks the truck. I lift up the engine cover and see the bilge full of water. Flip the bilge pump switch (supposed to have auto float switch) and nothing. Well I know I put the plug in. Look back and there is water spewing in. Shut it off can't really see much. Start it up again the look around. Hard to tell but looks like water coming from the bell housing which makes no sense. Tell wife to not get in just go get the truck we are done. Load up and it takes 6-7 minutes to drain the water out. Get home and go for a quad ride because I don't want to look at the boat. Just before dark I stick my head under engine cover and now no idea where the water is coming from. Best case is there is split hose somewhere. Could be a pump seal in which case I need to pull the motor. There goes my springer season. Need to drop back in the water and look again to what is up. Good times. I love boats.... Break Out Another Thousand!

The bigger the boat the bigger the hole in the water! Whomever coining that phrase I would like to introduce to my 12 ga loaded with rock salt!
Just because I figured out how to freeze mine this winter...did not mean you had to go out and one up me!
If it was coming from the bell housing, any chance the bellows are cracked, split, or otherwise compromised? Still a PIA repair, but not quite as expensive and you only have to drop the lower....oops, you've got a pump. I suppose that makes a big difference on the gimble....and do you even have bellows on those?

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 33.6° and clear. A little high marine layer over the coast range.

Good morning. Frost on the ground here. Another night of many interruptions. My lower back is acting up again, Gavin has one tooth popped through and three more about to, and Owen woke up at 2am needing to go pee. Then a little later came in our room asking where Mason is (camping at Belknap Hot Springs with my parents).

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Howdy John.
It's very interesting Evan. What in the world is going on with those people? My package goes to the Tri-Cities and then is sent to Fife-Tacoma-Kent-Tualatin-back to Kent- back to Tualatin and finally to Kent again - and since FedEx can't find Sheridan, they give it to USPS to see if they can do any better. Another one goes pretty much the same route, but throw in a stop in Kansas and Delco Idaho before making it back to Tualatin and then to Salem before surrendering to the USPS.
Yours leaves Tri-Cities and instead of coming 230 miles down I-84, they sent it 750 miles south to Oakland? Maybe you can call them and request it gets Mickey Mouse's autograph while they have it on tour in Ca.!
