This cold Saturday #1 is the day to have 6 new winter Ice & Snow tires put on Jolly Green........ The old girl will be happy.......
The money jar will not be happy..........
Morning all, 32 and between 5 to 6 inches of that white stuff. Had it in 4 wheel drive on the way in and only could do 20 to 25 MPH. Hard to see the road and it is still coming down hard. May head home if it doesn't let up, not sure if I can make it back up the drive how it is. Electricity has already blinked twice since I been at work and I could here branches snapping as I went to the truck.
TodayMainly sunny. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 this morning. High minus 20. Wind chill minus 41 in the morning and minus 30 in the afternoon. Risk of frostbite. UV index 2 or low.TonightA few clouds. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light early this evening. Low minus 29. Wind chill minus 32 in the evening and minus 38 overnight. Risk of frostbite.
Today
A chance of snow before 1pm, then a chance of rain and snow. Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. North wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. East southeast wind around 11 mph.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 30°,9, 13 mph wind, about an inch of wet sloppy type snow on the ground now and still coming down lightly.
Morning all. Looks like snowmageddon missed us again. If you're eugene and south... you're getting dumped on and will be be dumped on for a while. We got an inch and it's already stopped as the moisture band moves east. Totally bummed.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Snow is all gone for now. We'll see what it looks like in the morning.
I was listening to the radio today and an interview with KQEN in Roseburg Rich. They were talking about how hard they were hit and all the snow and how they normally don't get snow and on and on and on.
I don't think there was a single winter down there that I wasn't putting chains on a Patrol car. We used snow mobiles occasionally to get to complaints or medical emergencies on Summit, Terrace and a couple other streets and roads. Too many Kalifornicators moving in I guess.
We have between 15 and 20 inches of snow here.....depending on where you measure.....schools closed today and tomorrow......I have two more weeks until I'm cleared to drive, but I carefully plowed out the driveway twice.
