Good morning everyone. Hovering around freezing with a tiny bit of snow here.
My new new boots arrived and don’t fit my foot shape well. Looks like I’ll be returning these and heading up to the Danner factory store in Portland to try on some different styles.

Court this morning for a Trial Conference. Susp.#1 this morning, Susp.#2 on March 7th. Coward #3 still on the run.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from court.
The Chief Deputy D.A. requested the presiding judge recuse herself in a computerized flag on the case file and then resigned from her position and left the D.A.'s office on Monday. No reason given for the resignation, but I have some educated guesses. Now we have to wait until the D.A. reassigns the case to a new D.D.A. Since it is a rather voluminous it will take the new DDA a bit to get up to speed.
So we had to get a new judge assigned. Ironically it's the judge that defeated the C.D.D.A in the November election for the judgeship. This new judges entire legal career up until the election had been as an attorney on civil cases Since her experience has been in going after people for damages, perhaps this will work out in our favor.....
Anyway, everything is set over until March 28th for scum bag #1. Scum bag #2 is still on for March 7th and Scumbag #3 is still on the run.

Happy Friday, 28 and dry as I left the compound. Got the closet organizers in the "Princes Palace" done last night and a bunch more of the vapor barrier down to do more flooring in the hall and reading room.
