Good Morning! Dang it's chilly out there. Maybe some snow starting tomorrow. That ought to make the sportsmen show fun!...well the drive anyway.
Chris - Great to meet you and your better half. I always enjoy putting a face to the name.
Jim - The Warden is quite a firecracker. I can only imagine what she was like "back in the day"!
Always good to see you two. I still say you should come back to the show Warden-less and get a new camper and some other toys.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Clear and sunny here. In the last two hours we have seen the beginnings of global warming and a heat wave! It's jumped from 24 to 27° ! Time for cut offs...

Morning all! Day 3 of the show. We finally sold a couple boats yesterday. Doesn't look like any snow until late tonight or early tomorrow morning. At least the roads will be empty for the most part on the weekend. It's going to suck sunday when everyone leaves and has to pull all those boats back to there showrooms and shops. That is never fun. Been there done that...
So far i haven't spent too much at the show. I did buy some flip up sites for my AR. Seemed like the normal one you see on Amazon. They seemed ok so I'll give them a try. $25. Also couldn't help myself an picked up a $40 red dot. Not sure if I'll put on the real AR or the M&P 15/22 I have. Never used one so figured this might be a good way to see what they are like.

Rich, the thingnbid watch for on the red dot is the zero moving around because of recoil on the AR. The cheapest red dot infound that got good reviews on bigger rifles was the Bushnell for $50. The cheap ones seem to do fine on .22 lr guns.

Rich...I forgot the 'mickey' for the Warden and it is now costing me big time!
Snow just to the north and snow just to the south. Looks like the Radar is showing the north snow moving our way.
