I just completed the front foot wells and under front seat oem ambient lighting to my 17’ Lariat to see how it went. Now I want to finish with all of the other locations but I’m not sure which part is correct for the cup holder lights. In the post above I saw two part references and both are very far apart in price and the more expensive one seems it has gone up in price. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

HC3Z-14A318-E $45
HC3Z-25045A76-CA $265
HC3Z-14A318-E is the lighting module if you have fixed color lights this is the part you need.
HC3Z-25045A76-CA is the cup holder assembly if you don't have the lights this is what you need.
Geez.... glad I bought all my stuff when it was cheap. Yup, you need the whole expensive console not just the wire module. Here's my order.
that is crazy!! Well I hate to spend that but it’s just not the same without it. I love how y’alls turned out.
I was intrigued reading all the threads adding this as mine did not have it but it did have them already in place under the seat, just not active. I ordered the front foot wells and went from there.
it’s fascinating parts were in place but not in use. The seat harness has everything wired to the led but the harness from the bcm to the seat harness was without the date and power wire.
the front foot wells had plugs but no leds in place but they were actually wired with the data wire fully, was just missing the power wire.
Just to be clear, there is no where to make the existing Ice Blue Ambient Lighting brighter via Sync3? I'll deal with the color, but it isn't very bright to really be useful
It's a bummer Ford did away with adjusting the colors like my 2016 F150

Not on the 19's. I did notice they brought the adjustability of brightness back for 2020. I thought maybe updating to that version of Sync, might include that feature, but according to those who have have done it, it still doesn't enable it on the 19's.
I have a 19 lariat ultimate. I do not care about changing the color of the lighting, but is there a way to enable changing lighting intensity through forscan? When you shut it off all the lights get brighter so I know they can change. But I want them to be bright all the time, not just when I shut it off. Even if I could change a code through forscan and not have it change on the screen that is fine too. TIA

The 2020s have that ability, with some people updating their Snyc to the 2020 version it had me wondering if that also included the ability to change the ambient lighting intensity. When I asked, I was told that it does not.

could you maybe elaborate a little on the 2020 version of sync3. Is that not what just came out a couple months back? Which version are you referring too?

I'm talking about the version that comes in the 2020's, its not available through Ford as an update for the pre 20's, but some have found a way to do it. There is a thread with instructions on how to do it to a pre 2020 truck.
its possible to add it on the value package. I'm currently adding it to mine. My body harness came pre wired for it. the console and door harness are missing the conectors. I just need the time to add the missing conectors. Look under the driver and passanger seat for a lighting module if one is present you truck may be pre wired. Another place to look is behind the glove box to the right it there may be a small back conector with a cap inside of it.
These are the part numbers for the lighting modules. Some of these parts have been discontinued so some of you 19 guys may be out of luck.

I have a 2019 lariat ultimate and i actually prefer the ice blue but it is like barley on. If I make these changes through forscan will it give me the ability to change intensity of the current lighting? TIA

you'll get the brightness control but I'm not shure if you'll get much more light out of the lighting modules. i have the color ones and the don't put out much light.

perfect. Are these changes in the BCM? Or a different one?

there 1 in the apim and the other 2 are in the bcm. Once you changes those addresses in forscan (rember to save your original value for thoes addresses incase you want to change it back), the ambient light option will show up in the settings menu, you'll get the option to change colors in that menu, changing the color won't work but you'll be able to change the brightness by holding on one of the colors and sliding up or down.
