Im sorry GABAR....but im failing to see why my install has compelled you to talk ****....
all the LED's are hidden out of sight and there are no hot spots.....simply bc they dont change color? Maybe the fact that I didnt want to spend $100s of dollars on connectors and OEM harnesses and mess with forscan... and still get the desired effect I wanted,
But hey I hope you feel better about yourself. Next time, just keep scrolling..

I merely said that they do look like you made them yourself.
With that being said and since you mentioned it in your previous reply, I see many hot spots, don`t you?

This thread has been very helpful to many with Super Duty's looking to add ambient lighting back in such as myself so maybe we could keep it in that direction.
Front doors have a ton more wires lol.. took 2 hours to remove harness, integrate it, install and put the panel back on. Pulled the wire through the inner door boot. Other side. I fabric tapped it all as its easier to slide through. Boot pulled away from door connectors
Pulled the negative terminal out to modify it for the ambient ground. Opened up the crimp holding the wire skin. Cut the skin away that would be underneight. Gives it room to crimp the ambient wire in. Both crimped together now. Tapped back up and re ziptied it. Success, doesnt show well with a flash lol.
the other 2 wires were fished along and put in its corresponding spots. Its idiot proof as theres only 2 wires coming from the cab and on the door harness side it's missing the 2. After I reinstalled everything I put a meter on each wire to make sure 1 of the 3 didn't break or my crimps were no good. I bought a semi pro crimped for molnex connectors in amazon for 25 bucks and it's worked great

Couldn't agree more, ol' boy (GABAR) probably doesn't even own a +17 SuperDuty from the looks of it.......moving on.
