Finally arrived, the Headlights.!
I ended up buying another set from Ford so I could take my trip to Michigan.
Now in my "Spare" time, I'll get these installed.

I pulled info for the build from emails, as I didn't remember. It took a while for this to happen, so I lost track of what I chose.
I let them choose the shroud, I think they may be the Apollo.

Well, finally the headlights have been installed this past Sunday. I did not take pics of the install, as it was kinda of a pain. I'll take some pics after I aim them. Hoping to get the replacement fender-liners, and new splash guards in maybe this weekend. I also dropped off the rear air deflector at the body shop for a new coat of black paint, and clear-coat.

Replaced the Inner fender liners with ones from the junkyard that were cleaned and coated with bedliner spray. New custom shaped splash guards from the exact same material are now done, a bit of a job. But done.

I know, it's a racket. After a failed attempt to do the conversion myself with the Morimoto LED projectors, I sent the Morimoto parts back, losing a percentage return fee, plus one destroyed new OE housing. After some unnecessary miscommunication from them I was bumped further in the wait list. During that wait time, I made an impulse buy on a new Travel Trailer of which I drove to Michigan to pick up, without my conversion headlights, so I bought one more OE housing and rigged the destroyed one so I could have headlights for my drive to MI. So you can add about $200.00 more to the headlight conversion project.
I only just got time to install them a week ago after receiving them the very end of December. I'll finally get to aim them in preparation for a road trip with the T/T this weekend to see how they are.

Sure sounds like a racket! One day I may get some lights along those lines, but for now I deal with the OE ones that are yellowed. Hopefully when I tear mine down for the Cummins swap I'll get some little odds and ends done like that.

I totally dig the inner fender liners! Well done! That update is for sure going on my list!

The front liners look great. I want to add the additional coverage to mine when I do manifolds.

I re-learned an important lesson, I, we, us, anyone, can pretty much do anything we want ourselves in today's world and with the technology we now have. I wholeheartedly attempted the conversion myself, but it became a real challenge, (4 times in the oven before I got the housing apart) and the one benefit of someone who does something on such a regular basis, is that it's presumed to get done properly and know their way around the work. And for this, you pay a price.
In my business customers are always taking things apart, can't get it right, then call me. Since I've been in the service field for 28 years I'm able to get it all fixed for them, in very short order, and adequately charge for my service.
I'm also fortunate that the X is not a daily driver and can stay in the garage. This helps me out a lot, and I can take my time on the things I do. I've had the headlight project on the burner for 2 years now.

Thanks. It turned out pretty well considering I used the tattered original one as a template. It could be better by my standards, but I really prefer the increased coverage. I'll take some pics in the daylight when I hook up to the travel trailer this Friday for the weekend trip.

Finally, the rear air deflector is done. Back from the body shop early this week, with a fresh coat of black then clear. It was really a bear to install, but it's done.
